Positiv Owners were welcoming, area was lovely & quiet (other than the cockerel that starts crowing at 3.30am!) Pitches were a good size, showers were hot, very small shop on-site with locally sourced sausages. The site is safe & secure, gates are locked at night (code given) A lovely lady called Stacey helps out there and was super helpful and even had some local honey delivered for my husband.

Negativ This has the potential to be a wonderful site, sadly two things let it down. Firstly there is no outdoor sink to wash dishes, the sinks in the toilets are tiny, you can barely wash your face in them and they have no hot water so you can’t wash them in there. Secondly, as lots of people have mentioned, the toilets are dirty and the showers are filthy and mouldy. We stayed for a week and not only were the bathrooms not even cleaned once, the bathroom bins weren’t emptied at all either. There’s a mop left outside the door which I used to clean the bathroom on two occasions as the floors were filthy. Sadly this really lets the site down, other campers we spoke to said they would not be returning and I think we wouldn’t either. Definitely a shame, that something so easy to fix lets down such a potentially lovely site.

Vom Platzbetreiber: I had to pause before commenting. It is clear enough there are no bells and whistles here...hence no pot wash. The toilets and showers are indeed cleaned regularly. The mop is there so if people tread in mud in between times they can clean up after themselves. The field is after all a grass site. This is a rural location and we have a number of returners who are content with how things are. I am not sure this party got the ethos of this site. This is a place we hope can be enjoyed without some of the more bothersome behaviour of urban life. Perhaps this site is simply not the right sort of venue for this party.

Positiv We’ve been to Lady Willington numerous times now, it’s always spotlessly clean, beautifully quiet and well maintained. Pam & Richard are always welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Negativ The wi-fi doesn’t extend to the pitches, I have unlimited data so not a big deal for us plus the boys were off playing with other children most of the time and certainly didn’t miss it!

Positiv Yet another fantastic stay at Lady Willington! I simply can’t rate it highly enough, spotlessly clean and well kept, quiet & a perfect small size for us. Pam is always kind & welcoming and continuously goes out of her way to help with our mini disasters! We’ve already booked to come again in a few weeks and will no doubt continue to do so! A+++

Negativ A bit noisier than last time, I think the Lodge was being rented by a large group who were really loud in the evenings when they were sat outside.

Positiv I think we have found our new favourite site! This is the first time I’ve been away with just me & my ten year old, he is autistic and doesn’t like loud noises or crowds, so he hates the bigger Haven-esque sites. This site was perfect for him, beautifully peaceful and not too big, he played happily with a few other children on the site. The site itself was lovely and clean and well maintained. I struggle with my mobility (I have a blue badge) and Pam kindly let me park next to our pitch which was really appreciated. She was on hand if we needed anything and was welcoming and knowledgeable. Clean, well stocked toilets, hot showers, large washing up sinks. Electric and water points next to pitches. I couldn’t have asked for a better site for our first ‘Mummy & son Solo adventure’ and we will definitely be back soon.

Negativ Only a tiny grumble, the wi-fi wasn’t working (or didn’t reach the pitches) for the whole time we were there, I had some work to do whilst I was there but had to use my phone data instead.
