Positiv Great location, with nice pub (Kings Head) within walking distance. Walked to Great Dodds, Helvellyn and circuit of Thirlmere direct from the site. Delicious eggs on sale and campsite owner very friendly and helpful.

Negativ Working farm, there is a bit of noise early am although it did not bother us.

Positiv Proximity (<1 mile) to excellent walking. Proximity to pub which serves great food (Red Lion in Litton). Take a torch with you if it is going to be dark when you leave. Good toilet and shower facilities.

Negativ Grass could do with a mow when we were there.
