Unternehmensinfo hinzufügenOwned by friends Sonia and Cyrille, Domaine de Sonia has been designed as a place where the two friends can share their love of Corsica’s scenery, culture and cuisine with guests from around the world.
The glamping site is in a very special spot indeed, on three hectares in the south of the island between the mountains and the sea, and about 15 minutes' drive from the pretty harbour town of Porto-Vecchio. The family-run field has been open since 1991, handed down to Sonia from her father (both of them Corsica natives).
There are gorgeous sea views to be had from around the slightly elevated site, and the glamping area has been cleverly designed to make the most of these: each of the accommodation domes has a 180-degree view of the sea.
Sonia and Cyrille have created what they delightfully call ‘a bubble of softness’ for guests here – each of the domes is kitted out with a queensize bed, high-quality bedding and lots of lovely furnishings for a cosy and comfortable stay. The domes have their own ensuite bathrooms, plus handy extra touches including coffee machines, fridges and soft lighting. And of course the real highlight: huge transparent windows to make the most of those stunning views…
By prior request, Sonia’s able to provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drinks for guests (for an extra charge) – and guests can work up an appetite with a dip in the outdoor pool, a game of tennis or a bike ride.

At the entrance to Residence U Pirellu, you will find a gate – look on the left pillar for the arrow to Domaine de Sonia. The gate will be opened remotely for you. Once you go through the gate, take the first left at the top of the rentals. By block 21 to 25, take the dirt track to get to the glamping site. Park tightly by the side of the straw bales and reels.

The local area is lovely for exploring on bike rides or walks, and there are also plenty of ways to enjoy the sea nearby too – there are several places nearby for boat trips, scuba diving, snorkelling and watersports including waterskiing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The team on site are happy to help you organise outings with trusted providers, so just chat to them for tips.
Something a bit more leisurely in mind? Head to one of the local beaches – Plage de Tamaricciu (10 minutes' drive), backed by pine forest, is a real favourite, and there’s gorgeous white sand at Palombaggia (10 minutes) or a golden stretch at Cala Rossa (half an hour).
Also nearby you could take a stroll around pretty Porto-Vecchio (15 minutes), seek waterfalls at Piscia Di Gallu (50 minutes) or swing through the trees at Parc Aventure de Porto-Vecchio (10 minutes).
