Positiv Location - right next to beautiful lake, very wooded and green, very peaceful.
Hosts very friendly, helpful and they had lovely dogs.
Close (if driving) to lots of interesting places.
Can order breakfast pastries/ bread to be ready for you in the morning.
Simple but effective facilities e.g. hot, powerful shower, electric hook-ups.
Very good value for money (low season in September).
Pitches mostly level or gently sloping.
Close to beautiful lake with a beach and a really nice restaurant.
Negativ Facilities were kept clean but did feel a bit dated overall, would benefit from a bit of a spruce up.
If we had been there in high season when the site was full it would have felt a bit cramped I think, and the facilities might have not been enough for everyone.

Positiv The site. Although fairly remote, the location is beautiful, with a local village only 10mins by car. The lake is beautiful. The camp is well kept, clean facilities with handy bread / croissant ordering for breakfast & a wonderful trailer kitchen offering nachos / paninis / burgers etc from roughly 6.30 - 8pm. Food excellent + very well priced. The hosts here are particularly lovely & friendly filled with local knowledge.

Positiv We loved the fact that the campsite had lots of trees to provide some shade. The campsite is family size - not too big - and is right next to a big lake we can swim in and go fishing on. Our children loved the camping ground and enjoyed making new friends.
Negativ My husband thought there aren’t enough toilets. However, they were clean !

Dieser charmante, familiengeführte Campingplatz bietet geräumige Stellplätze in friedlicher Natur, direkt an einem schönen See mit Bade- und Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Gäste loben den herzlichen Empfang, die Hilfsbereitschaft der Eigentümer und die Sauberkeit. Die Anlagen sind einfach und etwas altmodisch, aber sauber und funktional. Positiv Lovely, friendly greeting on arrival,by the owners, a British couple. The lake was a couple of minutes walk away and was a real treat, especially for our dog who loves to swim. The beach too, which is next to the lake is really super clean, although dogs aren’t allowed on it. A very quiet and peaceful site too.
Negativ No grey waste point and no Elsan point. We were advised we could use the disabled toilet to empty the black waste, but there was no means of cleaning the toilet cassette afterwards. No WiFi but we were advised it would be coming shortly.

Thanks for your kind review. Sadly we are not allowed to have an elsan point or accept blue chemical waste due to the fact that we are next to the lake and have a septic tank. This information is available on pitch up and our own website as well as the fact we don't have wifi at the moment. There are local emptying services in many local villages near the campsite the closest is 3 km away in St Sauveur. We also have a good 4g signal at the campsite.

Positiv It is a nice, small camping with good pitches and enough shadow. We liked the lake at 2 minutes walking. We also liken the restaurant at the lake. We stayed 2 nights, the second day we were free to choose another, bigger place. The owners are very flexible.
Negativ We didnot like the dogs that were walking around and 2x we found dogs shit.

Vom Platzbetreiber: I am sorry that you didn't like our campsite. Normally people comment that our toilets are clean and serviceable. If you had found it not so I am sorry. We do clean them and check then 3 times a day. The weather was very hot so people were on the beach till late which is out of our control we are mostly a very quiet and tranquil campsite.

Positiv A very simple but beautiful site. Owners are very kind and helpful and the toilets and showers are kept very clean. Fabulous to have the lake so close to jump into. Heatwave conditions so lots of jumping into the lake and visiting the showers for a cold one!
