Positiv A Beautiful, idyllic, campsite. Quiet with a lovely warden, very chatty who really knew his stuff. Very clean, with a lovely shower, toilet and wash room in one. Laundry facilites in site with great dish washing facilities as well. (Even somewhere to sit and read a book). Plenty seating areas and picnic tables dotted around.

Negativ There is not anything to dislike about this place. Its beautiful!!

Positiv Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Lovely campsite, very welcoming and friendly, gave clear information about whereabouts of facilities. Loved the file in the hut containing instruction, including a variety of local takeaway menus etc facilities were really clean and the quiet time 10pm-8am rule was perfect too. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Positiv Lovely quiet and well kept site. Friendly and very helpful staff. Beautiful location. Visited few times at different times over the years (Tent/ pod/ luxury pod) and site and staff make the stay just right. The Camden pod overlooks the river so the gentle sound of running water and birdsong is constant

Positiv One of the very best sites I’ve stayed at - excellent facilities and the staff are so welcoming. Combined shower/toilet blocks are superb and very warm. Great walks nearby and really good pub just a short walk away where the food is excellent. Pitches brilliant and all elec/water at the pitch.

However I did note that you stayed at the same time as somebody that scored us a 5 saying that ""The tight packed pitches with liite extra space. Also a really narrow road between pitch rows giving little or no privacy."". sometimes you feel as you cant please everybody all of the time. It was great to host both of you haste ye back

Positiv What a fabulous site !!! Not too big , quiet accept for the melodious sound of the river and birds!
The facilities are great. The washing and drying facilities with card payment very useful.
You feel immersed in Scottish scenery and yet literally a very short stroll to a well stocked shop and pub/restaurant.
The walk directly from the site Into the woods is stunning and allows you to see Black Rock gorge.
Last be no means least there’s Gary ( and team). What a lovely man! His management of the site and friendly interactions with guests are the finishing touch . We loved it and hope to return , thanks Gary, from laura and richard

I was ok, but never mansion while ebooking and after 2days of finished stay still - no return of deposit!

Now need to do email conversation

Parking not facilitated well !

Maintain ok
Not sure recommend or not in future but away from main town location

Since you have just rang to chase your refund (which can actually take up to 5 days) whilst I was entering this comment when you conceded that you were going to remove the review (which Ive confirmed that I am happy for the review to stay) as sometimes its good to see a poor review and the subsequent feedback to the reviewer so that everyone can see both sides of the story. Furthermore I have checked and your deposit reimbursed to you the day after you left!

In terms of parking you are able to park within 10 metres of the camping pods to facilitate the unloading/loading of any bedding and or equipment from your vehicle. You then have to drive to the pod parking area which is less than 50 metres away! I can only apologise that you had to walk in the rain but we are situated in Scotland so rain at some point is inevitable.
