This is the worst campsite I have ever come across, by a significant margin.
There are no facilities (toilets, taps etc.) but there are EHUs, it appears to be a dumping ground for abandoned machinery. It is next to a very busy, fast main road.
The girl in the bar said "I don't know anything, I work here"
The gentleman who eventually turned up was only interested in the conversation he was having with the occupants of a car. He provided no help or guidance and was positively grumpy.
We did not stay.

Positiv: Easy to find

Negativ: Rough pub and clients not much better, far too interested in me and the van and any equipment that might be on display.

The car park for campers is the same as the pub car park and there is too much coming and going in the camping area.

No contact from the owners - they just take your money

I left, I am fairly robust but this place just gave me the creeps and part of the car park was obviously used for sexual activities.

Positiv: I got upgraded to room for a short fee and was decent 👌 but the tv didn't work marty is sound tho

Negativ: Not much space for tents

Negativ: It's just a pub car park with electric hook up.
Nowhere to go toilet or get a wash.
I drove away and found another spot. Very noisy as car park next to the road.
Junk all over the place.

Positiv: Didn’t like anything as didn’t get there. Had to cancel due to accident but despite numerous attempts to make contact to get some of the site cost refunded was routinely ignored.

Negativ: We were unable to take this holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. With 4 weeks notice of our need to cancel I emailed the proprietor. I emailed twice more and got no response. I rang a number of times and spoke with someone, explaining the issue and our request for a refund, he said he was unable to talk to me at that time and he would ring me back. Needless to say I have not heard another word so actually I think the owners of the site are rather disreputable and I was very disappointed in their approach. Clearly they had our money and that was all they cared about. Won’t be attempting to stay here again.

Positiv: When I rang the owner to confirm i was in the right location he answered and confirmed.

Negativ: No facilities
Beside a busy road
Field for camping grass very high.
We didn't stay the night we ended uo leaving.

Negativ: No toilet/shower facilities, didn’t really feel safe leaving the tent during the day

Positiv: Not one person was there, the place wasn’t open and other people pulled in for free and we paid $59, not happy

Vom Platzbetreiber: hey.sorry you feel you had a bad experience. we have done some adjustments to avoid such misinformation.
so we have made the opening hours and days available for bookers to see.
we unfortunately can't help if outher campers pull In and use the facility unannounced. we just the majority of camper guys are honest.
our camp site is relatively new and is only taking of so there may not be outhers here all the time,but luckily enough it has been very active and as we add further facility's it will grow to be one of the best on the wild Atlantic way.thank you for your imput.
