Positiv No check in procedure. Lovely setting, social club with great view from the terrace.

Negativ My husband has mobility issues and found the disabled toilet a bit of a trek.

Positiv Very clean site Pete his family are so friendly and helpful. All they need now a toilet upgrades.

Negativ Couldn’t fault the place toilets do need an upgrade, but Pete keeps him in the best condition that you possibly can

Positiv Peaceful, beautifully presented site in a lovely setting.

Negativ Beware the SatNav- it sent us down a very narrow dead end with the same road name as the road the site is in. We had to turn the van around with the motor mover!

Positiv Lovely and quiet, well laid out, peaceful small site with nice views, the japanese garden was a benefit. Played some pub games in the bar at night, bar was very reasonably priced. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Would be a good site to explore from by car, local walks available but not much around.

Positiv It wasn’t too big and the pitches were well spaced. We liked that the site was a charity and we did go up to the main house to use the small shop and the games room which was part of a resident home which was quaint. We also walked around the gardens and used the showers which were good. Toilet block was clean and not too far from the pitch.

Positiv Beautiful grounds stunning views adequate pitch space had a bar in the residential house that you could use

Negativ Amenities were very poor if you wanted anything to eat you either had to drive out or order from the residential area the night before for a meal, no onsite shop and no coffee facility though there was a put up kitchen area outside if you brought your own

I'm so sorry that our amenities didn't meet with your requirements.
Yes we are a very rural and picturesque estate based in the Surrey Hills, we are a charity run residence for ex seafarers and they enjoy sharing their facilities with the campers. The Springbok shop is located in the kitchen via the resident dining hall, open 8-2pm and 4-6pm week days and 8-2pm over the weekend. They also provide take away teas and coffees, and yes if campers wish to have a meal provided, we recommend to let the kitchen know 24hrs prior to, to make sure that there is no food wastage on food if not otherwise allocated. Unfortunately being so remotely placed, the Uber and Deliveroo take aways are not possible in our little village, which is sad news indeed for all of us!

Positiv I felt really safe here. As a solo female traveller, that's important. It was so peaceful looking out across the fields but not too far from the main house if I'd needed anything.

The bar was nice (and really cheap). It's worth chatting to the residents too. They're all friendly but not too invasive.

The pitches were all really level and well looked after.

I don't normally pay for electric hook up as I have solar so didn't know if mine even worked. I tried it here as it was included and it does work so that's a bonus.

You have your own little area and they don't charge extra for silly things like getting a chair out.

There is an electric shower and the toilets are all really well kept.

The grounds are great for walking and the Japanese garden is really pretty.

I would definitely stay here again. Location is great, really easy to get to and signposted from the road. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but there are several towns close by. And of course the downs really close.

Positiv Great location for meeting up with family. Lovely grounds and friendly staff. You can stop the #42 bus at the road and go into Guildford or Cranleigh for the day. Bar on site where you can chat to the seafarers.

Negativ Showers a bit basic but worked.
