Positiv Very friendly. Pitch was private and peaceful. The wooden shelter provided was invaluable as was the bin and fire pit. Felt very safe.

Negativ Not really a dislike, however the toilet and shower facilities were a little basic. Very clean, but the shower was fairly cold (I think I might have just been unlucky as others commented it was very hot). Where we stayed there was only one male and one female toilet (portaloos were a little smelly). This did not impact our stay at all though.

Positiv The large shelter for cooking and sitting under is a stroke of genius! This allowed our group of 4 (on a 4 tent pitch) to sit outside in the dry and also cook without having to put up a tarp. The woodland pitches are a good size and really well spaced out throughout the woods so that you hardly know anyone else is around. The showers are spacious and the water is warm, facilities were all clean. We liked being able to have a fire once the rain stopped.

Positiv Lovely woodland site, lots of shade, very clean facilities. Big secluded pitches and very helpful staff

Negativ Not easy to walk anywhere from the site, being down a lane from the main road

Positiv Great space, lovely and peaceful. Choice of woodland or field camping. Clean toilets and able to buy logs, ice etc

Positiv Everything! Truly amazing off grid experience. Jamie is amazing and this is one of the best off grid campsites we’ve stayed in! Highly recommend.

Positiv We enjoyed the woodland pitches, but also enjoyed being able to go to the communal area to soak up some sun. It was a peaceful retreat in nature and had all of the amenities we needed. Close enough to local shops to buy our dinner and cook it over the fire. Jamie was a kind host who made sure we were cared for. Spacious pitch with room to spread out.

Positiv Peaceful, flat, easy ground for pitching. Bob, who met us on arrival, gave us good choices re woodland, open field etc.
The site was quiet so we wondered whether the site is in a growing phase….certainly the number of toilets and washing up facilities would not cope with large numbers of campers

Negativ Lack of wash basins. Few of the camping friends we know would go to a site without sufficient wash basins, let alone none.

Positiv Nice location with woodland pitches. Each pitch has a covered "kitchen" area with basic prep table and a bin. Toilets and showers are very clean, with hot water available. Massive 60 acre land to explore, with lots of wildlife. If you're lucky you can see deers in the woodland and rabbits across the park. Perfect for bushcraft fun with kids. The owner is really friendly and helpful.

Negativ On a minor downside, unfortunately the sound of the nearby motorway with revving motorbikes can be heard at night.
