Positiv Conveniently located near Battle train station and a walk from the Battle centre, the campsite was big and surrounded by trees and forest.
The tent was comfortable.
The toilets and showers were great. We also appreciated we could order some breakfast from the owners.

Positiv Location was good, the pods were well-sized. We paid extra-for the firepit and BBQ which added a nice cosiness to the evening. Pods were in a field which had plenty of space for the kids to run around. The facilities were what you would expect, portaloos and a fairly straightforward shower setup, but they were clean and emptied daily.

Negativ You have to leave your car in the parking lot, which is a bit of a hassle to move your equipment.

Positiv Lovely little campsite. Very near ancient woodlands walk. Very affordable and friendly. There are showers, toilets and washing up facilities. You can also order breakfast or a fire pit. Really nice and quiet. I didn't check if there was WiFi but there was signal.

Positiv Absolutely loved our time here, right back to nature and off the grid but showers and toilets. The abbey is a definite must see and battle is a absolutely beautiful little quant villiage with some beautiful hidden gem shops. The pods are lovely no electricity so take a power bank for your devices, the historic forest is absolutely stunning and there is 2 beautiful horses to fuss and 2 wonderful doggies to make a fuss off as well, the site is family run and they are absolutely lovely including their teenage children nothing was to much for them. The only thing I wish I had of taken was my gas stove purely to make a cup of tea as a kettle takes a while to boil on the fire

Positiv My wife and I visited to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we really just had a lovely time. The bespoke BPB fire pit doubled as a barbecue and was a nice touch – we bought meat from a butchers nearby and had a lovely meal.

The area is secluded (and beautiful) and despite a large group a few tents down, we really couldn't hear them. The accommodations were spaced appropriately that it felt private.

Both owners were kind and Patrick even helped us with our bags (the wheel barrow was a great idea!) – we also got to meet the horses and explore the (absolutely huge) wooded area behind the site. I'd say: make more of a stink about how lovely it is! Thanks for having us
