Positiv Wonderful view across the hills, sweet hedgehog area and care for wildlife, natural relaxed.site with bar, pool table and a swim sauna and steam.

Perfect place to pitch a campervan for a couple of nights.
Lovely and peaceful friendly and helpful staff and a good meal in the bar which was delightful in a comfortable area.

Negativ Absolutely nothing hope to visit again!

Positiv Lovely small camp sites. Offers a lot for a small venue, great food, nice bar area and swimming til 8.30pm!

Negativ The touring pitches are in a bit of a slope and grass. The awful weather made it difficult to park on and was very muddy

Positiv Plenty of space and a lovely view. Excellent food and welcome in Clubhouse. Private booking for pool and sauna was an excellent asset that the kids loved. Excellent stop close to Filey and Scarborough. Wild meadow great for the dog. Will be coming back

Negativ As others have said the site isn’t level (not even close) so make sure you come prepared.

Positiv Friendly staff and very helpful. Excellent bar & food. Fabulous pool, steam room, jacuzzi & sauna. Good games room also. Good base to travel to Scarborough & Filey, 20 minutes away.

Negativ Pitches not great on a grass hill in the rain! Needs hardstanding pitches for motothomes and caravans. Toilet in with shower cubicle which got very dirty, very quickly from grass and mud from the field. Only wifi in bar area.

Positiv The staff and owners were lovely – friendly and very welcoming. The reception and bar/eating area are beautiful, the electric gates are a great touch, and the walks up towards the top of the hill are wonderful with breathtaking views. There is a fantastic range of pool toys for the children. We didn’t eat here, but the menu looked great and very reasonably priced. The information leaflet provided on arrival was also really helpful.

Negativ The bathroom changing rooms didn’t smell great, and the swimming pool was very cloudy with no noticeable smell of chemicals. However, the area around the pool, sauna, etc. was clean. The touring toilet blocks were reasonably clean, especially considering they are next to a grass pitch field, although we have been to sites where the facilities felt more deeply cleaned.

Negativ Facilities yes they was cleanish but very cold n only 3 toilets which was ok but when busy wouldn’t be good 2 sinks

Positiv Beautiful, quiet surroundings – perfect for a relaxing stay. There were only around 10 caravans on site, so it felt very peaceful and uncrowded.

The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean, cleaned 2–3 times a day, which was a big plus. The food on site was very good, the bar was great, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was excellent as well.

Negativ The only downside was that the heating in the toilets was not switched on, which was noticeable during cooler weather.
