Positiv The food was ok but maybe a tad expensive. The pub garden is nice though. The site is quite nice but basically the pubs back yard with a toilet shed.

Negativ Dog friendly (sort of). Dogs are to be kept on leads at all times but there's literally nowhere to walk them even if you could. The site is ok but very small and should not be £35 a night. Its probably worth about £25 even with todays ripoff site prices as its ok but not great for that price. Toilets and shower clean but in need of modernising from the shed at £35 a night.

Positiv Lovely small site with very large pitch. Entrance gate locked at all times, we were provided with a key…good security.
Toilets and showers were lovely and clean and the water pressure and hot water in the shower was great.
The Bistro was lovely, great food and friendly staff.

Positiv It’s a small, well kept site of only 10 pitches, situated directly behind the pub restaurant, but not so that you get any noise from there. All pitches are very large, half being on just grass & half having hard standing. There’s a lovely beer garden at the start of the site, which is next to the washroom and shower facilities. There’s also a dog wash area and a long hose for re-filling.
The food is good & plentiful in the pub. Drinks are a bit pricey but there’s a good selection.
Great location for exploring North Norfolk & it’s many fabulous beaches.

Negativ Nothing at all to dislike but worth noting as others have said, that there’s nowhere close by to walk your dogs or let them off.
And no hairdryers or WiFi on site.

Positiv We loved the site, location to beaches, not far from Holt, Wells or Fakenhan. The site was small, intimate and located at the rear of a lovely Pub/Restsurant. Our pitch was a great size for our 6m x 4 m tent plus car. The toilets, showers and washing- up facilities were clean and tidy, butter than many sites I have visited nearby.

Great selection of beers, in the pub, the food was outstanding. My wife had the Gyros which she loved and I had the Shawarma kebab with a delicious salad. Deserts were lovely too with a great selection of homemade treats. Prices were very reasonable for the portions
size , my kebab was one of the best I ever tasted, moist ant full of flavour.

Site was well secured too which was reassuring. Very dog friendly site and in the bar too so you can take your porch in when you eat. Staff were very friendly, attentive but not ‘in your face’ as some places are.

We will return here next time we camp in the area for the food alone as it’s worth the two hour trip.

Negativ WiFi only worked in the pub but that’s fair enough as we were not expecting anything more.

Positiv The site is so beautiful, it a lovely friendly site, lovely clean facilities, it was easy to find and easy to get too.
We do want to come back and stay here in our caravan.

Positiv The quiet location and the closeness to the bistro. The food was superb by the way and well worth the stay.

Negativ Nothing really as all was great for us. WiFi would have helped but not the be all and end all of any stay.

Positiv Barry, Michelle, Lauren and the team were absolutely brilliant. The site is peaceful and quiet and local to a lot of the North Norfolk go to places. Food is top notch and the local ales served are heavenly. A nice short stagger back to the caravan. The site is well managed with clean and tidy toilets and showers. Would recommend.

Positiv Great campsite, fantastic bar and restaurant, food was amazing. hosts were very helpful and friendly.
Clean and tidy showers and plenty of hot water.
Pitches were big (on a grasspitch)
