Positiv: We loved how secluded the campsite is, the chickens are great, the cows are brilliant and James could not have been more helpful.

Positiv: We absolutely loved our stay in Middleton Green. James was a wonderful host, there if we needed but very happy to leave us to enjoy getting back to nature. It was great to hear about his plans for the place, that working in unison with nature was at the heart of. It is a car free camp site which meant us and the kids could relax and enjoy the space without fear. We loved being close to the animals, although the roosters do love and early start. Probably the best holiday I've ever had.
Getting away from it all is such a tonic.
James and his mum are so welcoming.
Lovely atmosphere and so relaxing.
There are cows, chickens, ducks....all sorts.
I intend to go once a month for a few days, just to reboot.
I can't rate my experience highly enough 🙂

Positiv: We had a fantastic stay at this campsite. It's perfect for young families. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful setting made it a lovely place to relax. The roaming chickens were a real highlight for the kids.

The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. The facilities were well-maintained, including a toilet on-site which is really helpful when you have young children in tow.

Overall, a great campsite that we’d happily return to. Highly recommended!

Positiv: Love the choice of being able to camp in the woods. A little shop with eggs bacon etc. the offer to watch cows being milked in morning. The compost toilets worked great perfect little basic site. Two great pubs only a short walk and lots of walks to keep you busy

Positiv: We love these basic campsites, water, a loo and a flat pitch is all you need.

The site is deep in the rural countryside, quite spot, look out for the eggs box next to the gate as a marker.

Really friendly welcome from the owner who has great plans for the development of an orchard on site. There are already chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and lambs on site. The hens and ducks walking past the tents door and exploring around us.

Great place would love to use again.

Positiv: Although the facilities are basic, (no shower block) this site has great views, and bags of potential for future development. Plans are in hand.

The host ( James) was friendly, helpful, and on hand whenever required.

Surrounded by working farms; cows, hens and chickens to wake you in the morning. If you are looking for this kind of site, Orchard View is well worth a visit.

Negativ: A few more facilities needed, but plans afoot to develop site.

Positiv: Really nice host & I had a great stay.

Negativ: There were only two groups staying while I was there but I had to queue for the single toilet. Ok for my stay but would quickly become unacceptable when there are more people onsite.
