Ruhiger Campingplatz mit viel Platz, tollen Wanderwegen (auch für Hunde mit sicherem Auslauf). Besitzer Dan wird gelobt. Duschen sind einfach, etwas kalt und könnten eine Reinigung/Modernisierung gebrauchen. Zufahrtsweg ist holprig, aber Verbesserungen sind geplant.

Positiv We had a lovely stay at Lupine Woods Camping, even though our trip didn’t quite go to plan. We stayed during a storm and, being complete camping novices, we quickly realised we didn’t quite have the right setup for the conditions. The ground was already quite soft due to the sandy soil, and our tent pegs weren’t really suitable for that type of ground, so unfortunately, we had to abandon camp. That was more down to our inexperience and the weather rather than anything the campsite could control.
That said, there were still plenty of positives. Our daughters absolutely loved playing in the woods, and the open field was fantastic for them to run around in. The site has a peaceful, back-to-nature feel and is a great place for families who want space and a relaxed camping environment.
The only drawbacks we noticed were the sandy soil and quite a few mole hills around, which made things a little trickier for us in the bad weather. Even though our stay was cut short, we still came away with good memories and would consider returning in better conditions — with better pegs next time!

Positiv Went off season and found a very quiet spacious site, secure dog compound as well as woodland walk, and lots of walks straight from the site. A nice walk into Haxey for shopping if you forgot anything (as I did). Facilities on site are basic but clean. Dan greeted us on arrival and allowed us to park where we wanted, very friendly.
Negativ EHU power lost during storm, but that wasn’t their fault, it was back by morning.

Shame about the power cut, but it was the whole lane, not just our site. Good excuse for an early night!

Positiv Lovely place and feels alot more remote than it is. Clear skies at night give amazing views of stars with very little light pollution. If you like dogs or have a dog it doesn't get more perfect as there is a canine training school on site too lots of walks in the woods for those that like it.
Negativ Nothing to dislike apart from how cold it was but thats down to me and preparation hehe
