Syntes om We love this quant little site with the lovely on-site Pub and Cafe.
The plots are very pretty and behind a gate which is great reassurance for
security.
The Pub serves gorgeous meals and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
After a peaceful nights sleep we were woken to the sound of the tropical birds from the on site aviary, this was lovely and relaxing before our shower ( lovely and hot and stay on!!)and then followed by a huge breakfast (fry up ) in the cafe/shop that sells all sorts of produce and lovely fresh veg.
The grounds are so beautiful too with many different species of plants and flowers .
I would definitely recommend this site,

Syntes om Beautiful little campsite with excellent facilities. We loved everything about this campsite - the aviary, the pub which served delicious pub grub, and the shop that had everything you’d need for a short stay. Loved it and will definitely return.

Syntes om Good location with good facilities and nice friendly helpful staff. We book on the morning of our arrival as this was a last minute break, upon arrival there was no booking in the diary, however a young girl who only just come in to her shift said no problem bare with me whilst I look on the website we booked through. She found our booking and then proceeded to show and advise of all the facilities where.
Just 10 minutes walk down the road is the bluebell pub and Sandford manor which are also both dog friendly.
The holly bush site is quiet and chilled with good drinks food and a café deli on site, my only criticism would be that the pitches could do with being slightly wider as when set up with our awning out it was a bit to small.
Would recommend and will return.

Syntes om The overall stay was perfect, all facilities perfectly spotless, we ate in the pub, all the staff very friendly, food was lovely, i would definitely stay again

Syntes om Easy to find. Nice little pub on site, serving meals. Cafe on site for breakfast and lunch. Didn't use either. Facilties clean.
Was a quick stop over, so no time to explore area or relax, with a meal and a drink, or even try the Cafe, for breakfast. The Menu was very reasonably priced.
Very quiet. Would stop again, if that way.

Syntes om Ahh, I liked everything about this pitch. It was lovely that it was small and cosy. The pub was very welcoming- we had an evening meal - I had cannelloni -spinach and ricotta and hubster had Cajun creamy chicken - both meals were really nice. Got to say that the lady that greeted us on arrival was really pleasant as were all the staff that we encountered on our stay . We also had a breakfast at the little shop at the top which is a fantastic little canteen and deli shop- it appears to be well used by the local community which made the ambience really special and comfortable - nice breakfast (sausage was burnt but still edible!!) (no pots for me so not complaining).
Hubby has mobility problems so the hill to the camper plots could be difficult if you are on the higher plots but we were not, he did ok but it was a bit of a struggle. We would 100% return here if in the vicinity.
