Em va agradar Tranquil setting, cleanliness of facilities and fishing. We stayed in a pod overlooking the lake, which offered a great view and ever better fishing! Rachel (Owner) was incredibly nice and attentive. The site is beautiful, quiet and clean. There is an honesty box for kindling and logs for the fire pits provided as well as a bench and bbq area directly outside the pod, so you can cook and enjoy a fire whilst looking over the water. The toilet/shower is clean and only about 20 steps away from the accommodation, which is perfect for little feet! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a chilled out week…

Em va agradar Everything! The location is absolutely perfect for peace and quiet, right beside a well-stocked fishing pond and the river Severn. The cafe/bar & shop is a great place to relax, have a beer and get a bite to eat (pizza night is a must!) and the facilities were great. Clean and warm shower/toilets with hand soap and loo roll supplied, all of which were easily accessible unlike some campsites we have been to in the past. We planned on staying in our tent for 3 nights, however after the first 2 nights we asked to stay in a lodge last-minute as it was freezing at night, and the owners sorted us out immediately and gave us a discount for our 3rd night. Couldn’t thank them enough… lovely little find and would highly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning when it warms up a bit!

Em va agradar Nice peaceful site with lovely views of the fishing pond and surrounding forest/hills etc. A very quiet site with plenty of wildlife, a great location. Staff were approachable, friendly and helpful.

No em va agradar Very basic and not enough wash/toilet/shower facilities. We felt with a little more infrastructure in place this could be a 10/10 site. We felt the site needs more showers, toilets & washing facilities (not enough at times and had to que often to use single showers/single sinks).

Em va agradar Campsite was clean and very spacious ie. plenty of room between pitches - nobody was tightly packed in, giving you a greater sense of being ‘in the wild’ and not on a typical campsite with rows and rows of tents in lines. The guys running the site were very trusting and accommodating with organising wood for the fire and the ‘honesty box’ - they we’re a pleasure to chat to. A very quiet and peaceful site and would definitely go again!

Em va agradar The flexibility of the owner (Caroline) very accommodating - for example, opening up the coffee shop just for us one morning outside of the normal working hours. Lovely! We also liked the little honesty box for the bags of wood (for camp fires) drinks and ice creams. A nice little touch... Nice seating area and communal area

No em va agradar Small amount of showers/toilets for both males and females which lead to a bit of a que in the mornings.
