Em va agradar This is a very well appointed site mainly static vans with 6 touring pitches, it has been awarded 5* by Visit England and it shows. We had a lovely, friendly and welcoming check in. We chose our pitch from the ones available. On site there is a bowling green, reading lounge, pool tables and a bar and restaurant. Despite all those amenities it was the quietest site we have ever been on and the cleanest too. After a very busy season with our guest house this site was the perfect choice for a quiet wind down. We tried the restaurant and bar and found them to be really good with nice vegetarian options. The pitch was fully serviced and very nicely done. It is located between Harrogate and Leeds a great base to explore from. We spent 8nights and will definitely be returning we fell in love with both the area and the site. Em va agradar So much work and detail has gone into making this site the peaceful haven it is. There is a guest information book for each of the pitches, the information within them is so complete and detailed they would rival Google (please take a copy and enjoy). The site itself is very well thought out with ten pitches placed around a central oval lawn area, they are well spaced out too. The shower and toilet facilities are exceptionally clean and have been designed to a high standard (luxurious). When we arrived we had lost our jockey wheel on the motorway and our leisure battery was flat, the owner came over, rolled up his sleeves and helped us to push our van into place. We were very grateful. What could have been a negative start to our holiday was suddenly turned around by an act of kindness, he also gave us some advice as to where we may get a new one fitted. The location of this site is perfect for exploring Somerset it felt really central. There is a McDonald's, a Gregg's and an Aldi all within walking distance. The doggy playground is really cool with little jumps and a box of toys. This is easily the best site we have stayed at in a long while. When we return to Somerset for more exploration we will definitely rebook here. Best wishes John n Nick.

No em va agradar We really didn't want to leave this hidden gem, 8 days just wasn't enough. I can't think of a single thing to dislike even during a three day heatwave it was lovely!!

Em va agradar Loved the isolation of this site, very easy check in, literally rock up, choose your pitch n done. Idyllic countryside setting, with a lovely babbling brook running along side. We will definitely be returning, excellent value for money and an enclosed dog paddock.

Em va agradar We loved the warm welcome we received from Tina. The site itself is very well presented. The views over the fields are fantastic. The site is just off the main road with the pitches on a lower level behind a white cottage. We slept so well here the road noise was minimal and certainly not noticeable. Halfway between Kirkby Lonsdale and Skipton it is ideally situated for exploring the local area. A very quiet, intimate, pristine site. We will definitely be returning. Thankyou for a lovely stay 😊

Em va agradar Very quiet and peaceful site. Lovely scenery. The pitches are very generous in their size and spacing. The walk along the old rail track to the estuary was fantastic.
