From waterfall trails to caves and the Yorkshire Three Peaks, there’s quite a number of natural beauty spots around Low House Farm Caravan Site… and it’s no surprise you’ll want somewhere peaceful to rest up in between nature trails and summits, as the Lake District National Park is just 20 minutes' drive away. Thankfully, this small site is just the place for that. Surrounded by the quiet countryside with its own little beck, it’s easy to rest your feet here, perhaps while sitting at the picnic bench or relaxing on one of the rocks alongside the beck. The site is well-maintained and managed carefully, so there’s a water supply and waste disposal area for your convenience – and dogs are welcome on leads, too. Walking may very well be one of the first things on your mind when you arrive in this area, as there are trails, waterfalls and access to the Yorkshire Three Peaks from Ingleton, 10 minutes’ drive away – but first, tasty food can be tracked down in the restaurant opposite the site or the local pub a couple of miles away. Kirkby Lonsdale is another excellent foodie spot. Five minutes’ drive away from the site, it has a variety of pubs, shops and restaurants, so you’ll be able to sort yourself out in the way of supplies as well as tasty dishes.

Un lloc petit i tranquil només per a adults amb vistes precioses. Parcel·les ben cuidades, moltes amb aigua i EHU. El camp segur per a gossos és molt apreciat. Tot i que és a prop de la carretera principal, el soroll no sol ser un problema. Els clients valoren l'ambient tranquil i la bona relació qualitat-preu. Tidy, Bins supplied , fresh water and electric.

No em va agradar No toilet facilities so have to be self contained but this is made aware to you at the time of booking.

Em va agradar Absolutely amazing, Lots of space, lovely flat pitches. Very very quiet. Toilets and showers spotless. I will stay here from now on when I'm in the area.
Thank you for a calm and peaceful stay.
As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable here.

Em va agradar Quiet and calm. Very little road noise. Toilet waste and recycling bins and lovely big camping field if you don’t want hook up or hard standing. Bargain at £15 for grass pitch, no electric.

Em va agradar Hook up and water point at all the hard standing pitches.
Free WiFi included, the code is on the electric hook up.
Brilliant location of the main road, but protected from the road noise by a high embankment.

No em va agradar No shower or toilet facilities, but if you are a self contained unit, that wouldn't be a problem.

Em va agradar Everything , quiet and just what I needed with hook up water and waste on an adult site so no kids petting the huskies.
WiFi was really useful too. Really enjoyed it so will be back.

Mad about wildlife? Perhaps surprisingly, Ingleborough Cave (20 minutes' drive) is high up there, as aside from the cave itself, there’s a nature trail above ground. It’s just one of many geological hotspots around here, as White Scar Cave (10 minutes) is within striking distance too, and this one’s the longest show cave in Britain. Don’t worry too much about getting lost though, as there are guided tours. It might seem like Mother Nature’s showing off her feathers elsewhere too, especially at Malham Cove (40 minutes), where there’s a large limestone cliff in the shape of an amphitheatre and at Barbon Beck (10 minutes), a natural swimming hole with a waterside walk. Walking’s all the rage in the Lake District National Park (20 minutes), of course, but one route that hiking keen beans will likely want to conquer is the 24-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge over Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. As for some manmade entertainment, a look around the market town of Settle (20 minutes) or a trip to the local open-air swimming pool (10 minutes) will surely do for a leisurely afternoon out.
