Em va agradar Peace and quiet. Fabulous location. Close to Wells and Holkham, only a few minutes drive and less than 5 mins walk to catch the 'tiny' train light railway to Wells or Walsingham. Very relaxed campsite, extremely helpful owners.

Em va agradar Peaceful, rural setting. Close to Wells by the sea and Holkham beach. Both 10 mins away by car. It's also fun to catch the lightrailway from just over the road which takes you to Walsingham and Wells by the sea. The three horse shoes pub is 29 mins walk away. A beautiful pub serving excellent food but be sure to book.

Em va agradar I had such a warm welcome from Simon when I arrived. It was a busy bank holiday Saturday. He greeted me with one of his owls ( as well as working on the campsite he is also Simon Smith of ' Owls and About' I came to learn. The campsite was busy and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and protected knowing Simon was on site and close at hand if I needed anything all whilst being given the space to be an independent traveller. I loved the relax nature of the site, the beautiful field to one side which was my 'bedroom' view and Simons amazing Owls to the right of me. The amazing South Heacham beach is a minutes walk away. The beach side cafe cooks the most amazing and affordable homemade meals. There is a general store which is close and stocked with absolutely everything. The showers always ran with hot water as did the sinks for washing up. The cleaner does an amazing job keeping the facilities tip top and replenished.

Del gerent: What a fantastic review! We are absolutely beaming reading about your experience as a solo traveler. It is so important to us that our guests feel safe, supported, and relaxed, so we are thrilled that Simon was able to make you feel right at home (and introduce you to his beautiful owls from 'Owls and About'!). It sounds like you had the perfect setup with the field views on one side and the owls on the other—it truly is a unique way to wake up. We are also so glad you enjoyed the local gems like the South Heacham beach cafe and our nearby general store; we really are lucky to have such a great community just a minute's walk away. Our cleaning team will be so happy to hear your compliments on the facilities, too. We take great pride in keeping the hot water flowing and the site tip-top for our guests. Thank you so much for your recommendation and for choosing us for your Bank Holiday getaway. We can't wait to welcome you back for another stay!
