Tyckte om Peace and quiet. Fabulous location. Close to Wells and Holkham, only a few minutes drive and less than 5 mins walk to catch the 'tiny' train light railway to Wells or Walsingham. Very relaxed campsite, extremely helpful owners.

Tyckte om Peaceful, rural setting. Close to Wells by the sea and Holkham beach. Both 10 mins away by car. It's also fun to catch the lightrailway from just over the road which takes you to Walsingham and Wells by the sea. The three horse shoes pub is 29 mins walk away. A beautiful pub serving excellent food but be sure to book.

Tyckte om I had such a warm welcome from Simon when I arrived. It was a busy bank holiday Saturday. He greeted me with one of his owls ( as well as working on the campsite he is also Simon Smith of ' Owls and About' I came to learn. The campsite was busy and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and protected knowing Simon was on site and close at hand if I needed anything all whilst being given the space to be an independent traveller. I loved the relax nature of the site, the beautiful field to one side which was my 'bedroom' view and Simons amazing Owls to the right of me. The amazing South Heacham beach is a minutes walk away. The beach side cafe cooks the most amazing and affordable homemade meals. There is a general store which is close and stocked with absolutely everything. The showers always ran with hot water as did the sinks for washing up. The cleaner does an amazing job keeping the facilities tip top and replenished.
