Parcel·la de terra dur amb electricitat
Em va agradar We’re fairly local to the site and are familiar with its location. However, we were pleasantly surprised with just how nice it is. The site is divided into 3 fields which makes it feel quite cosy and no doubt helps shelter it from the wind being in an elevated position. We were put up in the corner of the third field which gave us an excellent view of the surrounding countryside. We were placed adjacent to the recently constructed excellent shower and toilet block which was convenient and quite secluded. The hard standing was nice, level and easy to manoeuvre into, within easy reach of the hook up. We looked down over the fishpond and towards Ellesmere which is within easy walking distance with a gate from field 3 leading directly towards it. Apart from one recent housing estate, that was at quite a distance Ellesmere is nevertheless hardly visible and you do feel like you’re out in the countryside. Noise from the road wasn’t intrusive. Robin the owner who came to say hello and collect the balance of his fee was friendly, approachable and informative.
Being quite late season and a lot of the site housing seasonal pitches for touring caravans, the vibe was very quiet and chilled. This is an ‘adult only’ site so should still be pretty mellow even in the school holidays.
In the evening we walked into Ellesmere and had a nice Indian meal at the Asian Spice restaurant and in the afternoon just chilled at the campsite. All in all a nice experience and it felt like a proper mini getaway even though we are very familiar with Ellesmere. A different perspective I guess!
No em va agradar Very little. A shame about the new housing estate slightly spoiling the view but that’s progress I guess?!

Parcel·la de gespa i terra dur amb aigua, llum i desguàs per a autocaravana Kestrel clifftop (tendals prohibits)
Em va agradar Beautiful cliff top views, excellent swimming pool, very quiet particularly on our first night. Pleasant, helpful staff. Mature well tended gardens on parts of the site. Reasonable proximity to Aberystwyth but a good job we took our e-bikes! TV reception.
No em va agradar Very narrow, steep, long approach road that was quite an ordeal for our classic motor home! No pub or local shops in proximity. Not very well stocked on site shop. Some BBQ items would have been good and a coffee shop/bar facilities in the games room. You had to pay for WiFi but 5G just about good enough

Del gerent: Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful clifftop views, swimming pool, peaceful atmosphere and the friendly service from our team. It's also great to know you appreciated the well-maintained grounds and our coastal location. We understand your comments regarding the approach road, nearby amenities and the shop. However, we would always encourage guests to thoroughly research their chosen destination before booking. The access road, our rural location, distance from local shops and pubs, and the facilities available on site are all clearly described within our listing and park information prior to reservation. Likewise, our shop is advertised as a small convenience store stocking everyday essentials rather than providing a full supermarket-style offering. That said, we fully recognise there is scope to expand and improve this area, and this is already part of our development plans. We are currently focused on completing our new washroom and facilities building, which has been a major investment for the park. Once this project is complete, our attention will turn to further improvements to the shop, office and reception areas, allowing us to offer a wider range of products and enhanced services for our guests. Morfa Bychan's unique appeal has always been its peaceful coastal setting, spectacular sea views and escape from busy commercial areas. While this may not suit everyone's preferences, it is exactly what many guests choose us for and return to enjoy year after year. Thank you again for your balanced review and valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future and show you the improvements currently underway. Warm regards, The Morfa Bychan Holiday Park Team

Em va agradar Very well tended site. Large level pitches with hook up and stand tap. Very quiet. Pleasant staff. Bar area was good. Toilet & shower block very clean and well presented. Not too large and static park segregated with separate entrance. Adults only good for peace and quiet although very early season anyway.
No em va agradar Fairly long walk to nearest outside amenities. Limited bar opening time, shop not open and no bar food available because of early season midweek stay. Had to go out for supplies. They could make more effort early season because of location. Although, we used well within the hook allocation of electricity the QR code internet thing where you had to give your bank account details so you could be surcharged was a bit of a faff. Had to pay £2 extra for my daughter to make a brief visit

Em va agradar Small site. Quietness. Location. Close to sea and Fairbourne . Friendly staff. Clean toilets & showers. Liked local pub Garthangharad. Beautiful views, although railway embankment close to bottom of site but trains infrequent.
No em va agradar Poorly stocked farm shop particularly as village shop small and with limited choice. Cafe/bar not open. Disliked coin operated showers with difficult temperature regulation. One out of order for part of our stay.

Em va agradar Cleanliness of site. Excellent hard standing pitches close to river. Great access road, level and with hook up and water supply. Toilets and wash facilities. Lady who greeted us was very friendly. Quiet, although early season and good road links. Proximity to amenities and Montgomery, Newtown etc.
No em va agradar That this is primarily a static caravan site and as such with the motorhome pitches being at the bottom, aesthetically the view is somewhat compromised. That part of the site, although close to the river is also in proximity to a road bridge and we could occasionally hear cars. Fortunately it’s a minor road and the bridge is single lane with traffic light control, so the noise was infrequent and not very obtrusive.

Em va agradar Quite sheltered & spacious , facilities at other local Lyons sites available although we didn’t use them. Close to local amenities and beach. Fairly close to Barmouth. Picnic bench included. Chatty park attendant made us feel welcome and suggested restaurants and pubs
No em va agradar Toilet and shower blocks a bit worn and could have been kept somewhat cleaner. A little expensive considering our stay was outside peak school holiday period
