Em va agradar We have had an excellent summer at Rowbury farm. We have stayed here 7 times over the last year. The welcome we get from Becki and her Dad is amazing. I couldn't recommend this site enough. Its simple, clean and peaceful.

Em va agradar Second time weve been to this site and we will be back for a third! Beautifully kept pitches, clean toilets and showers. The coffee from the cart in the morning was spot on and a lovely Easter suprise too.

Em va agradar Lovely and peaceful site. Easy to find, flat piches, decent facilities and close to some beautiful walks (and pubs!) along the Test

Em va agradar Everything was great. We booked last minute, and information was provided by email within a couple of hours. When we arrived at our pitch, we had amazing views of the countryside and the amazing Wardens Jo an Kevin came to see us to check that we had everything we needed. They did this once a day whilst we were there, and it made us feel very welcomed. Even more so when the we met the owners. The way that they planned the pitches so it didn't feel overcrowded, put families near the playground, people.withdogs near the dog playground- very clever thoughtful planning. Looking forward to coming back to see the new ladies' shower block (although the current one is pretty good)

No em va agradar Whst is there to dislike? People who put unreasonable anonymous reviews on pitchup. If you dont like nature or inclement weather - don't go camping. If you dont like kids, don't go to a Family campsite during school holidays. If ypu have special requests - ask the owners, they'll probably help you!

Em va agradar What a great camp site - pitches were large and flat with well kept grass. So good you could walk around in bare feet! The reception team were friendly and helpful with a reasonably priced bar and pizzas. You could hire a fire pit and the toilets and showers were good. The compost toilet is a long drop so not that smelly. Didn't need WiFi- great opportunity to switch off from the outside world for a couple of days

No em va agradar Not many walks in the immediate area and you have to walk on tbe road. Also, why is it only open for 6 weeks?! Council rules are silly, campers bring money into the area and support local businesses!!!

Em va agradar The whole experience was amazing! The view, the people, the animals, the quiet, the pool, the facilities were top quality. If you can get a spot - do it!

Em va agradar The team on site were great, very accommodating and friendly. The site was beautifully maintained and to a high standard. The showers and toilets were clean and plenty of them. The on site shop was reasonably priced and had a wide range of goods. The local views were also beautiful 😍

No em va agradar There wasn't enough pizza or cocktails on the Saturday night so we had to go elsewhere and missed the entertainment. There was no where to charge devices which would have been really helpful.

Em va agradar The space and views were amazing. The toilets were regularly cleaned and topped up with toilet roll. The Pizza on Friday night was amazing and the farm shop had everything we needed and wasn't too overly priced. I was well signposted and easy to find and only a 20 minute walk to the start of the Borrowdale Scafell Pike trail.

No em va agradar It's not a dislike - just a of suggestion. The entrance to the site is a total blind corner and a parabolic mirror on the opposite wall to improve vision would be useful. Also warning people that the lower camp site is on bedrock so those using tents couldn't get any pegs in. (we moved to the upper site and had no problems)
