Camping Les Pommiers d'Aiguelèze

For a teeny place, Aiguelèze crams in a heap of activities – the Tarn river has some super spots for fishing and swimming, and visitors can hire boats or paddleboards or take boat trips from the marina. There are tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a 9-hole golf course and a hot air balloon base, too. If you’re fond of a glass of vino, Gaillac (a 10-minute drive away) is the place; the region has been growing grapes since Roman times. Visit the town’s wine museum before heading out to some of the local vineyards for tastings. Nearby Albi, 20 minutes’ drive away, is also a worth a trip, to wander through its car-free medieval centre and visit the Toulouse-Lautrec museum. Fashion fans may also like to explore the clothing collections at the town’s Musée de la Mode.
