Em va agradar The water wasn't hot, just slightly warm, no internet connection, there was someone else's food still left in the freezer, the bin was dirty, I was told to move my car down the hill and carry all my stuff to the caravan. Which was quite difficult as I have cancer and I'm quite weak. I won't be going back again.

We would, however, like to clarify a few points raised in your review.

Hot Water: The caravan is fitted with a water heater rather than a conventional boiler, and the water temperature can be adjusted directly on the unit. It is possible that a previous guest had turned the temperature down. Had you contacted us, we could have easily guided you through adjusting it to provide hotter water.

Wi-Fi: Our caravans use a mobile network Wi-Fi system, which can occasionally require a restart or reboot to restore the connection. In this particular case, the Wi-Fi equipment is located in another caravan, so we would have needed to attend and reboot the unit. This is something we could have resolved quickly had you contacted us during your stay.

Cleanliness: We apologise for the food left in the freezer and the condition of the bin. This is not the standard we expect from our professional cleaning contractors. Had you reported these issues, we would have arranged for our cleaners to return and rectify them promptly.

Parking: We would also like to clarify that there is parking available at the caravan itself, and Mid Wales Caravan Holidays did not instruct you to move your vehicle or park further down the hill. This instruction may have come from another caravan owner or the holiday park management, as parking on grassed areas can sometimes be restricted. We appreciate that carrying your belongings uphill would have been particularly difficult given your health circumstances, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this caused. Had you contacted us regarding the parking situation, we could have looked into this for you.

Reporting Issues During Your Stay: As clearly stated in our guest information, we ask all guests to report any problems directly to us within the first 12 hours of arrival. This allows us to investigate concerns and arrange for any necessary issues to be resolved promptly.

Unfortunately, you did not contact us at any point during your stay, including within the first 12 hours of arrival. We therefore had no knowledge of the problems you were experiencing and were not given any opportunity to investigate or attempt to resolve them.

We cannot address issues that have not been brought to our attention, and we would much rather have the opportunity to put things right during a guest's holiday than learn about them afterwards through a negative review.

We are a family-run business and take great pride in providing clean, comfortable holiday accommodation alongside friendly and professional customer service. We work hard to ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay and always aim to deal with any genuine concerns as quickly as possible.

Whilst we fully respect your right to leave an honest review of your experience, we do feel it is important to clarify that we were never contacted or given the opportunity to assist you with any of the concerns raised.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience left you disappointed, particularly given your personal circumstances. However, we would also like to reassure future guests that we are approachable, contactable and always willing to help resolve any problems reported to us.

Em va agradar We had such a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this caravan. When we arrived, everything was absolutely spotless and ready for us. We were told beforehand that we only needed to bring our own linen and towels, and everything else we needed was already there, including all the kitchen equipment and cutlery.

The caravan is in great condition and really comfortable. There were seven of us staying and we all had a great time. Everything worked perfectly and we didn't have any problems at all during our stay.

Communication with the owner was great too — just the right amount. Everything we needed to know was explained clearly, and we knew we could get in touch if we needed anything.

The site itself felt very safe, clean and well looked after. It wasn't overcrowded while we were there, which made the stay even more relaxing. It was also easy to find and everything was very straightforward.

Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable here. We'd happily come back and will definitely be looking to book again for next season. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

As with any mobile network, the speed and reliability can vary depending on signal strength, network coverage and the number of people using the network at the time.

Because of this, it may not always be as fast or as reliable as a fixed broadband connection at home. However, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to monitor the service provided.

Em va agradar Caravan was comfortable and had most of the kitchen utensils we needed.
Kids loved the swimming pool and made the most of the arcades (although you need cash which worked out well as parents when we ran out)!.
Tescos is a short walk (around 15 mins) down the hill although good climb back up.
Good location for seeing the surrounding area, three bridges, red kite feeding which is pretty impressive all roughly 20 min drive from the holiday village.
5 min drive to the beach.
Laundry room with fast machines. It was £4 cash for their use at the point of writing this.
A friendly neighbour let me use their drying line!
Wi-Fi seemed to work okay.
Shower is amazing.
We did need the heating on first thing in the morning and the boiler kicked in quickly and the caravan warmed up quickly.

No em va agradar Would be useful to have a drying line / rack for clothes. I didn't think about it when I did the laundry after arriving after a few days camping. Borrowed another families.
That was the only suggestion I had.
Can be a little noisy with the music from the " club" in the evening but we were so tired from camping it didn't stop us from sleeping or getting to sleep.
Generally quite a quiet campsite at the time we stayed (August 2026) if quite dated.

Regarding the Wi-Fi, it may be that the holiday park’s Wi-Fi was used during your stay. Unfortunately, the park’s Wi-Fi has not been working reliably for some time. Our own Wi-Fi system covers five of our caravans, and thankfully we haven’t received any reports of problems from our other guests using it.

With regards to parking, all of our caravans do have parking available. However, depending on the location of the caravan, the parking can sometimes be either directly in front of or behind the caravan, as each pitch is slightly different.

We’re always happy to help our guests if they experience any issues during their stay, so please feel free to contact us directly and we’ll always do our best to help.
