Hinton Hideaways

The Hinton Hideaways is under a hill fort on a working organic dairy farm and has luxury yurts with private bathrooms and luxury showers. The yurts have use of the on-site lodge with a beautiful communal kitchen and comfy lounge. Each yurt is fully kitted out with furniture and its own log burners for cosy nights under the stars. Exclusively for adults over 16 and surrounded by amazing wildlife and great views, this truly is glamorous camping. Each yurt is south facing. Sit on your own personal decking looking out across open fields and woodlands and watch the sun set; you might even see a herd of deer if you're lucky. There is also an award-winning gastro pub within walking distance. Our two Roundhouses at Hinton Hideaways are settled in 260 acres of peaceful organic farm land, hidden in the gentle Somerset countryside neighbouring the Devon and Dorset borders.They offer a space to reconnect to nature and the abundance of wildlife. A space to slow down and notice the little things. The Hide, and The Nest are organic curving timber frame dwellings, One with gorgeous outdoor bath house and private sauna, the other with outdoor bath, Hot tub and use of Sauna. Set in glorious Somerset countryside you will find great options nearby. From The Lord Poulett arms in the local village of Hinton St George to Holm in nearby South Petherton those looking for wonderful food are well catered for. Crewkerne also offers excellent food at the Crooked Swan as well as a large Waitrose and Lidl for those eating at home. Walk the local footpath or visit the nearby fishing lake and riding stables. We are also just 30 mins from the beautiful Jurassic coast.
