Set just inland from the north Cornwall coast, Seaview Farm Stays has lovely open views across the surrounding valley and towards the sea. While it's not visible from all of the pitches, guests can catch partial sea views from various points around the site – and facing west, the sunsets can be very memorable. Just five minutes' drive away from St Eval and near several sandy beaches, it's a peaceful and well-placed base for exploring the coast. Pitches are on a slight slope, so make sure to check the pics before you arrive. Coast lovers of all stripes should be in their element here – there are excellent walks along the South West Coast Path to Bedruthan Steps or Mawgan Porth from the site, or you can just stroll through the farm to reach Park Head, Porth Mear Cove or the sands of Porthcothan Bay, a splendid spot for paddling and bodyboarding as well as scenic sunset picnics. Can't get enough? Top spots like Newquay and Padstow aren't far off either. This is a laidback and pleasingly spacious site that welcomes families, groups and dogs and is pretty relaxed about things like barbecues and campfires. Simple facilities include basic toilets, coin-operated hot showers, drinking water taps and a chemical waste disposal facility. Mawgan Porth (five minutes' drive) and Padstow (15 minutes) are your closest places for shops and places to eat, but there's also a shop at Porthcothan Bay for snacks, coffees and ice creams and a nice tearoom a little over a mile away.

Em va agradar We had a lovely break here, beautiful area, beaches and clean campsite with facilities.

No em va agradar One night on weekend despite 10.30pm quiet time, was drunk and loud people opposite camping.

Em va agradar Wonderful location - a 15-20 minute walk to the South West Coast path, with some beautiful sights in either direction.

Facilities were very clean and well maintained.

We would definitely stay again.

No em va agradar Missing some amenities such as an ice pack freezer, but can't complain at the price we paid.

Most of the camp site is on a slight incline but not too bad.

N.B. there is very little mobile signal, but WiFi is available if you are set up near the facilities, chargeable at around £5 per day. We didn't use it so can't comment on its performance.

Em va agradar Fantastic pop-up farm campsite in a great location. Basic but excellent value, with super-clean flushing toilets and lovely warm showers. Perfectly placed for access to the coast path, with Porthcothan, Mawgan Porth and the surrounding area just a short drive away. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Would definitely recommend!

No em va agradar The only improvement I’d suggest would be to have a little more space between camping pitches where possible and/or making this clearer to people, as some campers were quite close together. It might also be worth considering additional waste facilities or bins around the site, as there was a little rubbish blowing around in the morning. Otherwise, everything was great!

Em va agradar A great campsite, basic but with everything I needed - loos and showers with hot water. It had a nice view over the countryside with a sea view in the distance. Even in the middle of August it was nice and quiet. There was an easy walk across the fields onto the coastal path where you could walk to Porthcothan, or Bedruthan.

Em va agradar I think the seaview camping lives up to the name, very good scenery they had x2 large fields that had lots of space to enjoy and relax, the field was very clean and no litter left behind.

No em va agradar i disliked the showers as they were cold i do think the sign to the feild should be larger as when we first arrived we pitched up on the wrong field and had to move aswell as the skip i think should be located elsewhere as when entering the feild that is the first thing you do see ( smaller waste bins should be located around)

The new electric hitch up and access to starlink was a game changer!
