Trelay View Campsite

Em va agradar We loved this campsite. It’s peaceful, well positioned between Bude and Widemouth. Facilities are basic but excellent. The campsite has all you need. So much better than the overpriced, overpacked, noisy sites. Highly recommended. Thanks for having us.

Em va agradar Just what you need to test gear and enjoy a night out basic but all you need portable toilets and one shower £1 or 20p. Washing up sink and shipping container with fridge freezer and kettle microwave for all to use even a selection of out door games. When I was set up I saw kids playing and enjoying the space and people coming and going as it’s a good base to enjoy bude sea side shops pubs etc. the people running the site are so friendly and helpful from a text message before you arrive to a visit in person asking if all ok and helping out with change for showers just before setting off I saw a small team clean and water the flower pots and make sure was tidy for the day. Will be back again thank you

Em va agradar Absolutely amazing, went with my boyfriend for the weekend and for such an amazing price we couldn't of asked for more. The facilities were perfect for us and the additional microwave, kettle and fridge were lovely and definitely made the trip easier. For £1 a 10 minute shower time is honestly brilliant and lovely temperature. This is a brilliant little campsite and we are definitely coming back sometime soon as for young teenagers it’s a perfectly available little spot. The views we had were stunning and you could see for miles, the stars at night were also gorgeous. The accessibility to the town is also great.

No em va agradar Only thing would be that when we arrived we were a bit lost and didn’t know where we were Supposed to do, although a quick call sorted everything I would recommend some sort of information board telling you what to do and who to call

Em va agradar We loved this site. It's on top of a hill with amazing views. Our grandchildren played with the toys provided for free. There is a lovely walk down to a stream through woods and a shady meadow. There are no pitches, we just put our tent where we liked. The site was quiet as it is far enough away from the A39 to stop traffic noise. However, it only took a few minutes to drive into Bude. Facilities are clean but basic. It is a farm site. There was a microwave, kettle, tea and coffee and toiletries. Even a socket to charge the phone! You pay £1 for the shower but that's for 10 minutes. I showered myself and 3 kids and still had time left over.
A great site for families and people who are happy not having pristine lawns, shower blocks and a reception. We will be back.

Em va agradar Trelay View is a great little campsite for those that want a no-frills getaway. Set within the typical hilly terrain of the Cornish countryside with stunning views.

Facilities are basic and perfectly adequate-providing more than some of the other "wild campsites" I have stayed at.
For the price, you cannot fault what Trelay has to offer.

Communication with the host was fantastic throughout my stay and very welcoming.

I will definitely be adding Trelay View to my return list.

Em va agradar The shower is £1 for 10 minutes so can have a good wash, shave and even do you teeth in that time.

No em va agradar It felt more like a farmers field with a caravan pit in it to look like a camping field.

Was ok to be in a van but feels like it’s early days and needs some more work and money put into the site.

Em va agradar Brilliant little site as a family we loved that if feels very remote however close to everything.

Shower was okay needs upgrading when possible tile slightly loose and functional however 10 mins feels like a lifetime.

Be careful as when we had a fully loaded car we bottomed out driving in.
