The Hop Farm is a huge camping and touring park in 500 acres of open fields and woodland, 15 minutes' drive from Tonbridge. The River Medway flows through the park – so arrive by canoe if you like, or stick around on site for fishing and kayaking. The site also has the stunning backdrop of historic oast houses, the largest collection of Victorian-era oast-houses in the world. Facilities include a modern shower and toilet block that's been recently refurbished and modernised. Local shops and amenities are five minutes away by car.

Em va agradar: We had an amazing stay, the facilities are clean and well maintained, the staff are all friendly and willing to help with any issues we had.

The pitches were a very good size and fit our family tent and cars on it with enough space around for the children to play and roam.

Em va agradar: Toilets were really cleaned and well maintained. Looked like they’d been freshly decorated too. As a group of 4 females we honestly felt safe the whole time even being outside til about 1 am. Two different people helped us when we was struggling with our tent. One man that lived on the site was so friendly and honestly we probably wouldn’t have lasted the night without his help as our tent had a hole in the air beam. Such a good price and such good value for money. The fact that we felt
So safe during our stay was such a big thing for us and we’re already planning our next trips there !

Em va agradar: Staff were very polite and friendly, the area was clean and tidy facilities were adequate witha bonus of a Bootfair on the next field the morning after !

No em va agradar: The only thing I disliked was that there was not any signs saying exit when u left, also there is a fork In the road and you have to guess which direction to take as there are no clues !!

No em va agradar: Site is awful. Rammed with hundreds of tents, vans, commercial vehicles, open fires everywhere, awful toilets and showers and generally felt like a refugee camp. So bad we felt unsafe and we left within minutes and booked into a hotel.

Del gerent: I am sorry you felt you had to leave after booking your 1 night stay to arrive at 7pm on a Bank Holiday Weekend.
Out of 135 potential electric pitches we had 60 being occupied and in our extremely large fields where we can take 200 pitches maximum not due to space but the amount of showers and toilets that we have only 59 pitches were being used.
We do allow firepits as advertised on Pitchup when you are looking to book, if you do not have your own we have started renting them out this weekend. What is a campsite without a nice fire for cooking, toasting marshmallows and keeping you warm to be able to sit outside when it is cool?
The showers and toilets are cleaned 3 times per day and we ask guests to tidy up after themselves as much as possible.
I hope our guests that stayed here this weekend are not offended by your remarks of being like refugees and that they made you feel unsafe.
Perhaps you enjoy hotels more than camping!

We do provide toilets and showers within the stipulations set out by the campsite regulations, however I can understand there being frustration if the majority of guests want to use them at the same time. The management are aware that more facilities would be welcome and are looking into the best position for these.

Follow the brown tourist signs from junction 4 of the M20 or junction 5 of the M25 onto the A21 south then onto A228 towards east Peckham. Go through a cross roads with traffic lights, over one roundabout and The Hop Farm is the first exit off the next roundabout. Once the kids let you off site, Kent (aka The Garden of England) has beaches, historic towns, forests and more castles, stately homes (and gardens) open to the public than anywhere else in the country. If this isn't enough, Paddock Wood railway station is five minutes’ drive from The Hop Farm for a train to London, less than an hour away. Dover is within 60 miles for a day trip to France. Kent has 350 miles of coastline, with Blue Flag beaches, watersports and those famous white cliffs at Dover. Eight of the 11 Blue Flaggers are in Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs; Whitstable and Herne Bay are also popular with oyster eaters, anglers and jetskiers. There are umpteen options for families in the area including play centres, farms, horse riding and days out. Howletts Wild Animal Park at Canterbury has the biggest group of looked-after gorillas in the world and experiences for visitors such as junior ranger days. Penshurst Place and Gardens has historical re-enactments, children’s trails, an adventure playground and special events during the school holidays. Both Leeds Castle at Maidstone and Hever Castle near Edenbridge are family-friendly and packed with activities and events. There’s a Go Ape! at Leeds Castle as well as two mazes, boat trips, falconry displays, underground grotto and the Knights' Realm Playground, a scale model of the castle (and a golf course and golf instruction for the grownups). Hever, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, has a yew maze and water maze, award-winning gardens and a topiary. Back with the big folk, the old market towns of Tonbridge, Maidstone, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge Wells are close by for shopping and sightseeing. Bluewater shopping centre is in Greenhithe (rival Lakewater is just over the Essex border at West Thurrock).

Admissió

Almenys un dels membres del grup ha de tenir 21 anys o més.

Només podreu entrar al càmping després de registrar-vos a recepció.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.

General

Aquest establiment Does una política de pesca de captura i alliberament.
En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
Està prohibit portar Drones, model aircraft, trucks, fireworks, open fires, cutting down or damaging trees, quads, go-peds, go-karts or other non-road legal forms of transport.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.
Necessitareu disposar d'una llicència de pesca oficial (cal que l'obtingueu a través de l'organisme competent amb antelació).
S'ha de respectar el silenci absolut entre les 22:00 i les 8:00.

Parcel·les

Cal que seguiu les instruccions de la direcció en muntar la vostra tenda de campanya/unitat i l'equipament relacionat.
Les unitats no es poden desallotjar abans del previst, tret que s'hagi arribat a un acord amb la direcció. Parleu amb recepció si us cal marxar, ja que es cobra una multa pels allotjaments que s'hagin desallotjat sense supervisió.
Per a utilitzar la connexió elèctrica és necessari un cable d'almenys 5 metres.

Recepció

La recepció està oberta de 9:30 a 17:30 entre el 01/03 i el 30/09, així com entre el 01/10 i el 28/02.
No hi ha ningú a recepció després de les 17:30. Si creieu que arribareu més tard, aviseu el càmping per tal que l'equip us pugui proporcionar la informació necessària sobre la vostra unitat/parcel·la.

Seguretat

Es permet fer barbacoes sempre que no es facin directament al terra i hi hagi un adult que les vigili en tot moment.
Es recomana als hostes portar una llanterna de bona qualitat, ja que algunes parts de l'establiment no estan ben il·luminades.
Està prohibit portar armes de foc.
No toqueu ni alimenteu els animals.

Vehicles

El preu només inclou un vehicle si viatgeu amb caravana o tenda de campanya. Si viatgeu amb autocaravana/càmper i voleu portar un vehicle addicional, cal que seleccioneu el cost extra corresponent.
Està prohibit que els vehicles circulin de 22:00 a 7:00.
No es permeten les unitats de més de 10 metres de llarg.
Només es permet aparcar un vehicle al costat de la parcel·la. Els vehicles addicionals s'han d'aparcar a la zona designada.
No s'admeten vehicles comercials (vehicles utilitzats amb motiu de feina o per transportar mercaderies o passatgers) ni vehicles amb propaganda al càmping.
