Lovely site, let down by the showers/toilets

Em va agradar Plenty to do. Attractive campsite setting. Good location. Large, level and well placed pitches. Entertainment and arcades were good.
No em va agradar Cleanliness of shower & toilet area was poor. The mens and the womens areas looked like they needed a deep clean. It was not pleasant to use. The floor was dirty, lime scale was abundant and there was hair on the walls.

Em va agradar It was really quiet so we had loads of space, and there were 2 swings by the block which the kids loved and saved us going to the big park every time, great location for getting into Shanklin and to the beach. Shops nearby. Plenty of facilities on site, was just a shame the swimming was closed as that was a big reason we booked here, but we were allowed to use the pool on the site next door. Luckily we had great weather so it wasn't too bad having to walk 20 mins to get there.
No em va agradar Showers and toilets weren't always the cleanest, but they were fine - we've certainly had worse. Main issue was that the swimming pools were shut and we only found out just before we were due to go so there wasn't anything we could do about it. I also felt like site WiFi was advertised when I booked, but actually you had to pay a daily fee if you wanted to sign in, and it was very limited, we ended up just using data and hot-spot.

were also booked into Nodes point but didnt go either.

Em va agradar On arrival we were given the option of pitches which was very nice.
The campsite steward (I think his name was Nigel) was incredibly helpful and friendly. Gave us some excellent information on the island and where to visit, even provided us with some brochures on different attractions. Showers were hot, clean, functional. Facilities in bar and restaurant were good.
No em va agradar Both pools were out of action. One due to season and the other for maintenance, could use the sister location for pool but we arrived in a campervan and didnt want to keep apcking everything up and down just to use the pool. Wifi was extremely expensive and the free one was non existent.
