Mi è piaciuto The pitch is much larger than originally expected, the electric hook up was a welcome addition, the toilets/shower block was well placed, close enough for ease but far enough that it wasn’t in direct line of sight.

There’s a shop on site if you get caught short and equally just down the road from the site was a supermarket. All needs were met.
The staff on site were all very friendly and accommodating, made you feel at ease from the moment you arrived.

The access to the on site facilities was fantastic, our little one had a blast and so did we.

The site restaurants, bars, shop etc were a little bit on the expensive side, but you could just pop to the supermarket easily enough.

The camping and touring reception wasn’t staffed on our arrival. On the day of our arrival we received several emails from the site labelled “arrival information” and this wasn’t mentioned. So it was a bit confusing on where we had to check in and what we needed to do, however, the staff at the main reception were friendly and overall we were very well looked after.

Mi è piaciuto We had a fantastic stay at Lower Hyde Holiday Park. The safari tent was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, making it a great place to relax. The park was peaceful, family-friendly, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring Shanklin and the beautiful Isle of Wight. We would definitely recommend it and can't wait to return.

Mi è piaciuto The site is lovely, we were quite near the toilets and shower block although i still had to drive there due to mobility issues. They were clean and the shower was lovely and hot and a stool supplied in there which was a relief. We would definitely go again. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and allowed us to check in early as it wasnt busy.

Non mi è piaciuto The price for 1 and a half pints of coke in the diner over £8 which we thought was expensive. We had a traditional breakfast and we weren't impressed. It was £20.99 for the 2 with a flat white coffee each. The breakfast was mushrooms, fried egg, 1 sausage, bacon, hash brown and beans. The mushrooms were stone cold, the hash brown was soggy too. The breakfast wasnt cooked fresh, it had clearly been nuked in a microwave. I wouldn't order that again. I was going to complain but we were just so hungry we put up and shut up.

Didn’t use anything like pool or clubhouse which is not our thing.

Non mi è piaciuto Shanklin itself was a disappointment- but the campsite can’t do anything about that!!!

Non mi è piaciuto Dirty showers that don’t drain so your stood in people muck! Toilets dirty and this is at all times of the day.
Security (yes security) stood around and don’t even acknowledge you.
Good overpriced crap and drinks expensive

Mi è piaciuto Location was great shanklin was a lovely area with lots to do around the island. Club house was great and loads of space

Non mi è piaciuto Asked to be next the toilet block as I’m disabled and was told wasn’t available and was put on the other side of the site even tho there wasn’t anyone on site the whole time we was there. Rain was terrible and the pitch was very poor with mud and rain destroying our pitch and equipment ended up leaving a day earlier due to this

Mi è piaciuto We thought the toilets and showers were clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful definitely stay there again,we felt safe and comfortable

Mi è piaciuto Plenty to do. Attractive campsite setting. Good location. Large, level and well placed pitches. Entertainment and arcades were good.

Non mi è piaciuto Cleanliness of shower & toilet area was poor. The mens and the womens areas looked like they needed a deep clean. It was not pleasant to use. The floor was dirty, lime scale was abundant and there was hair on the walls.
