Aquest petit i acollidor càmping ofereix vistes espectaculars i un ambient tranquil. Les parcel·les són àmplies, amb electricitat i aigua. Els moderns banys estan molt ben valorats. Ideal per explorar el Lake District, amb rutes i pubs propers. Els propietaris són descrits com a acollidors i servicials. L'únic inconvenient és la senyalització a vegades confusa i algunes parcel·les juntes quan està ple.

No em va agradar Did not stay , the hard standing pitches were very small and couldn’t peg down my awning as the ground was so hard , gave up and left

We advertise as a hardstanding site. Our 100+ images all show it to be fully hardstanding. At no point in any of our marketing do we suggest that it is not hard standing. For the past 2 years we have had guests on a daily basis (there are currently 3 up there right now!) erect awnings of all shapes and sizes, images of these are also in the gallery on pitch up.
I am delighted to read that you wouldn't visit again as the option isn't available to you. Instead of waiting until you were home and attacking your keyboard with your review, I live 50 metres away and have a farm shed full of hammers/mallets even tent pegs that could have assisted you, perhaps the adult option would have been to make contact while you were on site.
I take a lot of pride in keeping and upholding a good review score and put a lot of time and effort into my site.
I am embarrassed on your behalf that you have opted to offer a 3/10 score.

Em va agradar Everything was great , communication really good , helpful and friendly, lovely views and not far from Keswick with a good bus service almost on the doorstep so we didn’t have to move the camper
No em va agradar The only thing I’d say is that there’s no signage saying the name of the site anywhere , there is another site near the top of the drive so initially it was a little confusing as to if we were at the right place

Del gerent: Hello Elaine, sorry we didnt catch you I am down there a minimum of twice a day seven days a week and we live just 50 metres from the site (at the back of the first farm building) by foot so if anyone needs anything the information of how to contact us in the information you first received from the third party agent you used to book your stay, Pitch-up, then it is on your welcome information sent on the day of arrival and also on each door of each shower/toilet block. Really pleased you enjoyed the view and the location we are so so lucky, and I am pleased you were happy with the facilities which I do take a pride in keeping clean for everyone. Thank you for your review, we send directions with pictures to assist to show exactly where the site is on the morning of arrival, unfortunately we are not permitted to have road side signage by the Lake District National Park Planning Authority as if we had a sign it would set a precedent for all. We have however just had a new Braithwaite Farm sign erected by the local highways at the end of the road and that has proven to be a big help but I do appreciate if you hadn't read the welcome information and seen the picture step by step guide of where we are it isn't so easy. To help future guests with this we are also on Google Maps and if you type in The Willows Keswick it brings you right to the campsite. It does say on Pitch Up on our site information that we don't have a reception so guests are aware of this when booking as we live just behind the farm buildings we are always just a phone call away. I really appreciate your feedback as it does all really help us and also other guests who I know read both your review and our responses so thank you again.
