Em va agradar Loved the peaceful site which has very large pitches with electric and water. The site is not large and the facilities are clean. The shower rooms each have toilet, sink and shower. There is a small play area and a field where your dog can exercise off lead.
The site would be beautiful and get a better score if the pitches were weeded and edged tidily. We thought some trees and shrubs throughout the site would be nice.

Play area great for the kids to keep them entertained! Close enough so you can keep an eye but not too close to affect you if kids being loud.
Shower and toilet block really clean. Would recommend!
Good communication - we checked in by text as arrived later in the day.

No em va agradar Disliked nothing - one small suggestion would be there were quite a few empty pitches and some of us were close together so may be good to space people out further. Some faint road noise.

Em va agradar The site is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful, the shower/toilet block although very basic they are kept clean and tidy, there is a washing machine if needed a 10 min walk to the Toby Carvery was brilliant. The campsite i liked the location as we were able to go by car to see all like whitby

No em va agradar They said there is a discount on streamline taxis I am not sure as every journey to the same place was a different price better using Uber washing big dishes they had a facility but the water was not too hot. WiFi would have been good to have to keep older kids occupied

The lady welcoming us was very pleasant and approachable.

The water in the shower room could have been a bit warmer.

No em va agradar Toilets and shower cubicles etc were.not cleaned properly every day a young girl came in some days and was in and out the block within 10 minutes, after going in could see bins emptied and moped floors, despite there being hairs and dirt on the floor. Cubicles are grubby, nothing a bit of elbow grease and bleach wouldn't fix.
Sadly noone on site to speak to about the facilities we left 2 days early, mainly because of the shower facilities on site
Pitches were full of weeds in the gravel pitch area. Everyone was asked not to put awnings onto the grass. The gravel area was so tiny so you had no choice but to put your awning on the grass.
I gave 10 for customer service as 2 ladies we met were lovely and helpful, just sad they aren't there everyday.
