No em va agradar Shower blocks were difficult to locate and, if you’re staying in the seasonal area, require crossing a road.

We were told that because we were three caravans together, just six people in total, we were considered a “group” and that, had we booked together, our booking would have been rejected. This was surprising given that we were a quiet group throughout our stay, especially when compared with the noise levels coming from the pub and other campers.

We also asked if a friend could join us for one night on the Saturday but were told the site was at capacity and that no one else could be booked onto the site. It was therefore frustrating to see two other parties arrive later on.

There was loud noise from the pub and surrounding area until around 3am due to a party and we weren’t notified in advance that this event was taking place. Had we known, we could have made an informed decision before booking.

Em va agradar We spent the weekend here and love the place, clean and well groomed site. Staff friendly and accommodating, foods amazing 5 🌟. Will definitely come back.

No em va agradar Unfortunately what really let it down was the awful toilet block and the two showers.
Showers are at the back of the pub and are very dated and just not welcoming.
Toilets in field looks awful and are just not nice.

Em va agradar The location for this site is so beautiful. Very nice setting fabulous pub which serves fantastic quality food.
I would recommend this site but I would strongly advise about its downsides, yes we would return now we know what to expect, but sadly it would not be our first choice.

No em va agradar The pitch up description lead us to believe that each pitch had water and electric hook ups but sadly not no water hook up and the water taps around the site are not drinking water so you will need some sort of bottle or container for drinking water. The owner was very kind and did help us by supplying a container for water as we only had our water hose for hook up with us. Which we really appreciated as we didn’t fancy a 3hour round trip to fetch ours. (Note to self always carry your aqua roll regardless of what pitch up web site states it has to offer)
The electric hook is correct although states 10amp but the hook ups are not the best, ours and our neighbours kept tripping when only using a kettle and fridge. I’m sure this particular hook up may require some attention.
The facilities are very dated, there are toilets on the campsite but the shower is the opposite side of the road behind the pub. We felt it was a little expensive for what it was offering compared to other sites we have stayed at.
Also, the grass is not collected when mowed, so the toilets were in a state as you can imagine after a couple of days use without being cleaned. Such a shame it isn’t being kept up to date, as it has the making of an absolutely fantastic site.
There is no WiFi, TV signal or phone signal so be prepared to have to talk to each other, lol.
We felt that the priority of investing i s on the new holiday homes. Which I guess is to be expected.

Em va agradar Well kept grounds and clean tidy facilities, and pub owned camp site. Nice being by the canal and rural quite.

No em va agradar Limited number of showering facilities especially female and not located conveniently for the touring pitches.

No em va agradar The smell of the sespit or drains was horrendous.So much so we only stayed 1 night of the 2 we booked and paid for.
We had requested a pitch close to amenities which we were given but we were not warned about the stench.We couldn't have the doors and windows open on the camper.Not at all relaxing. No WiFi, no network coverage and the canal walk to market drayton is4 miles and most of it is unfit to walk on during to dangerous mud paths and land slip. The amenities where we were were a toilet block, that again was a disgusting smell, with sinks and an outside washing up sink.We were given codes for across the road on the seasonal side but dodnt stay long enough to use these.
