No em va agradar Quite close together and toilets quite far away from tent not an issue in the day but quite a long walk at night.

Thank you for the review. Are pitches are long and have plenty of space between them to allow for privacy. When in the countryside we are limited with the facility, however only a short walk and you will be at the toilet and showers, guests can also bring head touches.

Em va agradar Great night will definitely return, so much space for the kids to play and explore. There was other children there so they all made friends. Loads of spaces for tents everyone was very polite. Toilet facilities were amazing even had a kettle and washing machine in the facilities room and showers!

No em va agradar Nobody was around so we didnt no if we needed to be on a certain pitch but luckily one off the regular campers said just to any of them.

Em va agradar Whilst I won’t be returning to this campsite in a hurry, I was happy with the facilities provided for the price. I can’t say that this is a site I’d return to in the future, although the proximity to what I needed in the local area made it worth it.

No em va agradar The toilet facilities are lacking, with only 2 toilet cubicles and 2 showers, at busy times this could pose an issue.

Having to open 2 gates to enter the campsite was taxing to say the least. Hearing the excuse that this is due to the GRT community was also poor and something that should be publicly stated. Which then brings me onto this….

I think my biggest gripe is that other campers were allowed to have multiple fire pits on the go during the dry weather we’ve faced during the summer of 2026. This was a massive health and safety hazard, and when I queried it the campsite owner, they advised they allowed it. From my research Leicestershire fire service had recommended no fires/bbqs in public areas at the time. When I came back late at night with my 2 kids, 1 with additional needs, it caused much anxiety in them. The flames were far too high and not in a controlled & safe way. I won’t be returning to this campsite if health and safety isn’t managed properly. Disgraceful when other families were camping onsite too.

Due to this, I wouldn’t recommend coming here during dry weather as health & safety isn’t taken seriously here. I’m a seasoned camper and would never start a fire nor ask for permission to do so. The owners have a duty of care to all their guests, not to those that want to potentially cause harm.

Thank you for the feedback. We have a no fire/BBQ policy currently and this was an over sight on our behalf. We can ensure you we take our guest safety very seriously. We are a working farm and have gates to make sure any animals that happen to be moving around cannot get on to the road and keep them contained for their safety if they were to get out.

Em va agradar Lovely shower facilities, spotlessly clean. Thoroughly enjoyed having the place to myself on my midweek stay. There was always a breeze, even on the hottest days.

No em va agradar The only minor thing is that the grey water disposal is not accessible for motorhomes - it works fine for caravans using the barrel system. But really a minor issue and it won't stop me returning.

Em va agradar Great views and it was lovely to hear the horses. The facilities are rustic in style but clean and tidy with hot water.

No em va agradar Broken glass and sharp tile like pieces on the track around the gates. The road is just the other side of the hedge you camp against.

The track is recycled planings and contained many recycled fine parts that are safe. Unfortunately we can't move the road however were lucky it's a quite country lane.

Em va agradar Second visit here and once again not disappointed. Clean and well stocked toilet and shower block, the showers are brilliant especially after a day cooking in a heatwave. The non electric grass pitch was spacious and level with lovely views.

No em va agradar A little traffic noise from the road alongside but nothing to dislike about tge actual site.
