Once you’re all pitched up, you can head straight in for a pint or a wine – this park is rather handily tagged onto a cosy pub. The Hunters Inn, on the edge of Longdon village, is a handy four miles from the historic town of Tewkesbury around half an hour’s drive from Cheltenham, and also within easy reach of several of the area’s most famed historic attractions, including Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester Cathedral and Hartlebury Castle. The Malvern Hills are also a cinch to get to for walks and big bike rides, and the water meadow at Severn Ham, just outside Tewkesbury, is smashing for a bit of wildlife spotting and birdwatching. When you’re done with days of Worcestershire sightseeing, return back to base for a barbecue. However, if you’d rather have someone else do the cooking, then the pub serves some pretty great locally sourced food instead. There’s a nice sprinkling of entertainment here too: if you’re there for the pub’s monthly quiz, you can exercise some brain cells for a crack at winning the Hunters’ pub quiz crown.

Em va agradar Quiet site with the most amazing bathroom facilities..lovely big pitches and a fantastic pub serving brilliant food on your doorstep. The owner is super friendly and described the plans for the next upgrade...the wash up area, although the existing one is perfectly fine too..we loved the location, the footpath walks nearby and would highly recommend.

Em va agradar Lovely clean site very friendly staff
Meals in the pub are very good.
Nice log fire
Nothing to really complain about
The fish and chips Friday offer very nice portions very large fish.

No em va agradar I feel they were a tad bit of a steep price difference between the cost of hard standing and grass pitches
Something like a discount offer on food too use in the pub would be a nice offer to maybe offset that cost.
The disabled toilet is strangely the furthest one
I think maybe moving it to the first, the path to toilet is not very wheelchair friendly also the ramp has a lip which also makes it hard to use
The WiFi is pointless even if it is free

Em va agradar Again another satisfying stay here...
- Clean bathroom facilities
- Beer reasonable price
- Food reasonable price & good quality.
- Staff were attentive & polite.
- Electric Metered but reasonable price

No em va agradar Bit of a pong at the front of the pub from the waste tank ? But was okay in the campsite and rear garden area.

Dish-washing area is in need of an update but bathroom facilities are excellent.

Also, would be appreciated if campsite users were offered some level of discount on pub food or reduced campsite rate for repeat visits especially if 2 or more nights. Despite bringing my own beers, we spent quite a few £'s on meals and drinks.

Em va agradar The site was clean, nicely laid out not far form the pub the showers and toilets were of a high standard clean plenty of room, pricing was good for camping. The pub was great lovely food pricing competitive, staff were very friendly and really good at there jobs 10/10

Em va agradar Perfect site. Toilet/shower rooms were immaculate. Being adjacent to the pub was perfect for us with a vw camper it meant we didn’t have to pack up to drive and the food was fantastic

Em va agradar Lovely quite site great staff on caravan parcleaner ub fantastic toilets, however we're not cleaned on our 4 day stay one ran out of toilet paper maybe a laps did not spoil our stay..

Em va agradar Lovely relaxing site, next to pub, Fab food and reasonably priced. Vicki checked us in and was really helpful and looked after us. Letting us borrow a longer electric lead and making sure we settled in OK. Brilliant showers/toilet block. Thank you Vicki we will be back

No em va agradar Would be nice to know how much electric you have left ..maybe a text when running low if not on a online system yet . Other than that, which was minor -no issues.

Over in Tewkesbury, begin with an amble alongside the River Severn or opt for a boat trip along the Avon; then head to the town’s most famed landmark, the 900-year-old Tewkesbury Abbey, and have yourself a heritage wander around its walking trails. The Pepperpot in Upton is also a topping option as a historic highlight, as are Hartlebury Castle and the cathedrals at Worcester and Gloucester, all within easy driving distance. The area plays host to lots of festivals and events throughout the year too; if you’re in the area in July, make sure you check out Tewkesbury’s famed Medieval Festival, where thousands from all over get together for Europe’s biggest annual medieval reenactment: let the merriment commence and the mead flow forth. Elsewhere, this top Worcestershire spot is a most handy locale for outdoorsy and active adventures: there’s a golf course in Tewkesbury and several horse riding schools are in the area too, plus walking and cycling are popular around the Malvern Hills National Landscape, a short drive away. Severn Ham is also a splendid place for a walk and a bit of wildlife watching: be sure to take a pair of binoculars or even just your camera phone, because you’ll likely want to snap all the critters and birdlife you’ll find around this wild water meadow.
