Una zona d'acampada ben cuidada en un lloc impressionant del Peak District, elogiada per la seva neteja, instal·lacions modernes i personal amable. Em va agradar The campsite was well kept and the added features of a coffee cabin / bar was a good added touch. Toilets were kept clean daily and the staff were very friendly.
No em va agradar As we had to pitch the awning on the hard standing and has to use rock pegs for this, the ground wasn't compacted enough underneath for the pegs to do their job properly. The ground had a slope too, which was proven difficult at times, especially when hitching the caravan back up. Also, the showers stopped working (went cold and lost pressure) and despite the site apologizing, it was only temporally fixed a few days later, so limited showers in the heat.

We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your pitch and the showers. We appreciate your feedback regarding the pitch; our whole site is on a gentle slope as advertised, and we haven't had feedback about rock pegs not working before - perhaps this is a combination of the pegs you use and the ground being so dry due to the persistently hot weather we've been having. We are always happy to move guests onto an alternative pitch if they don't like the one they've been assigned.
Regarding the showers, we understand how frustrating the disruption must have been, especially during the warm weather. Unfortunately, people weren't reporting issues with the showers to us, so we actually didn't realise we were having problems. As soon as it came to light, we had a technician here to resolve it.
Your comments have been shared with the team as they help us identify areas where we can improve. We hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a much smoother experience next time.

Absolutely Outstanding Campsite – We’ll Definitely Be Back!

Em va agradar We especially loved how peaceful and relaxing it was, while still being perfectly located for exploring Hartington, Buxton and the surrounding Peak District. The little extras, from the on-site facilities to the friendly animals, really made our stay special.
If you’re looking for a clean, scenic, well-run campsite with fantastic facilities and a warm welcome, Hartington Hills is hard to beat. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and full of useful local knowledge.
We had an amazing stay at Hartington Hills and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views across the Peak District and plenty of beautiful walks right from the campsite. The site itself is immaculate – everything is incredibly well maintained, and the shower and toilet facilities are some of the best we’ve ever experienced while camping.
A well-deserved 10/10 – we can’t wait to return!

Em va agradar Lovely site with good sized and quiet pitches for our motorhome. Great location with links to good walks, cycling, fell walking, sight seeing, whatever takes your fancy. Stunning scenery and great for watching the sunsets.
Were welcomed on site by Mike and Beck who are excellent site managers. Mike also came to the rescue when our window malfunctioned on the motorhome.
Toilets and showers were immaculately clean. Clearly the staff and owners here take pride in the site.

No em va agradar Our pitch was on a slight incline and due to rain it all ran down that incline which pooled at our tent entrance so getting in and out of tent was a nightmare.
