Aquest càmping molt valorat destaca per les seves instal·lacions impecables i modernes (dutxes espaioses, cuina equipada, sala comuna). Molts lloen la neteja, la bonica ubicació ideal per explorar el Peak District, i el bon valor. El soroll de la carretera no va ser un problema per a la majoria. Els amants dels gossos aprecien la zona de passeig segura.

Brilliant place for a couple of nights touring the area.

Em va agradar Probably the best amenities that I have had in about 25 years of camping.
I honestly can't fault the place.
Our pitch number 17 had amazing views and a brilliant sunset.
We also watched in the evening the local farmer collecting and bailing his hay.
When they finished for the night we got a wave as they drove past.

Em va agradar It was clean, quiet, well signed and communicated. Also the views are absolutely incredible. I watched the sunset from my campervan and it was perfect
No em va agradar It wasn’t stated in advance that dogs aren’t allowed in the toilets which is not ideal if travelling on your own on a hot day.

Not ideal for caravans if you want a quiet stay. Very busy noisy road

Em va agradar Very clean and tidy facilities.
No em va agradar The hard standing pitch is very untidy, with large hardcore, which is uncomfortable to walk on and small grit which you walk into your van. Not very comfortable if you want to sit outside, you have to sit in front of the van. It really does need to be tarmacked.
There are security cameras across the site, but there are no barriers to stop anyone from entering, especially through the night.
Most sites have an automatic gate which opens from your registration number, maybe something for the owners to think about.
I understand that the owners want to give you privacy however on arrival a simple hello when you arrive would have been nice. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't see anyone from the management.
Wifi, or lack of. You are able to connect to the sites WiFi but the signal is very poor, couldn't connect to Amazon or Ebay ect.
The biggest issue is the Main road which runs right behind where the caravan was pitched. If you like being woken up at 6am every morning with large HGV wagons and roaring motorbikes then your in the right spot. The noise continues throughout the day until late into the evening.
I would Not recommend this site to anyone who's looking for a quiet stay.

We use hardcore on our pitches to enable guests to use an awning if they'd like to and as we are open all year round grass pitches would not be suitable in the winter months. We do have an office in the facilities building which the admin staff are usually there during working hours and also our maintenance staff are around and about in the morning if needed. We are also currently updating our WIFI so hopefully guests won't have issues going forward. Unfortunately the road can be an issue for some guests however we would happily welcome you back if you decide to return to us in the future.

No em va agradar Couldn’t pick up the WiFi from where our pitch was glad I didn’t have my teenage daughters with me 😂
