A small, modern and well-kept site, within easy reach of Buxton and Bakewell and a short walk from an award-winning pub – Farditch Farm is quite the Peak District pleaser. This friendly park in the village of Chelmorton is the place to settle for a little while if you seek your own space; valuing quality over quantity, the owners have elected to set up just a handful of pitches, each one spacious and surrounded by landscaping for the dual win of privacy and pretty colour. There's also good vehicle access, although the site is quite close to a busy road and does experience some traffic noise. Facilities have been limited to the essentials to maintain an uncrowded vibe. But what essentials they are – the smart central facilities building has a cosy lounge area and communal kitchen, and the adjacent toilet block has all mod cons, including plenty of showers, an accessible bathroom and handy touches including hairdryers. A cycle storage area is available on request, with secure storage and bike wash point. Skipping out from the site you can your pick from rural rambles on the miles and miles of trails that network the Peak District National Park, sampling the puddings in Bakewell and taking the waters in the spa town of Buxton. Pick up your eats at Chatsworth’s farm shop, 20 minutes’ drive away, or wander down to the local pub, the Church Inn, to see why it’s picked up awards for its offerings (tasty food and a fire by which to sup your pint, perchance?)

Em va agradar Everything, what a really great site. It had a very nice feel to the site. Very well laid out with great facilities & wonderful views.

No em va agradar The only thing I would suggest is using ‘what 3 words’ or a slightly more distinctive sign to help people find the site.

Em va agradar Exceptional site. 100% recommend. The site is very well maintained with one of the best hospitality blocks we have used in the UK. This consisted of very clean toilets and showers always with a constant supply of hot water. Large cubicles with plenty of hooks. A kitchen offering a hob, combi microwave, washing machine (no charge for this) iron and ironing board a fridge and freezer. They even leave washing up liquid (unheard of elsewhere). The communal area is well though out offering a comfortable seating area, TV and large dining area. Again beautifully clean. There are also games and puzzles and a most comprehensive folder highlighting attractions around the area.
We stayed in a campervan the pitch had amazing views.

Em va agradar Small and peaceful perfect, with The Church at Chelmorton great for pub food. The site is small with a few hook ups for campervans. Some holiday cottages and caravan area. Great for exploring Buxton, Bakewell area. The amenities are good and clean for a small site.

No em va agradar Be prepared for road some road noise.

Em va agradar Fantastic facilities (indoor washing up and great games room), lovely view and level parking. Very clean showers and toilets.

No em va agradar Sign for the site close be closer to the road so more easily spotted. Difficult to contact owners out of hours. Recycling bin was full.

Em va agradar Absolutely immaculate site with fantastic facilities. Only 10 pitches but has 5 proper shower facilities with constant hot running water and a large private changing area and clean toilets. Kitchen facilities included 2 sinks, a fridge and freezer, washing machine - again spotless. With a lounge area that had space for at least a dozen people. Great views. Close to the Church inn which had great food and a really friendly atmosphere. Great access to walking a mountain biking trails. Free WiFi and a secure bike store.

No em va agradar Close to the main road so could be a bit noisy, although this didn’t stop us sleeping in past 9am!

With Chelmorton in the midst of the Peak District National Park, there are heaps of outdoorsy activities within easy reach. Walkers and cyclists have miles of trails to pick from; popular favourites nearby include the Tissington and Monsal trails. Horse riding, canoeing and climbing excursions are also available around the park. And might you fancy pottering around the country’s fave country house? Then it’s off to Chatsworth, 20 minutes from the site – the Italianate stately home has been voted to the top of the polls several times for its fab collection of art, its stunning state rooms and its gorgeous gardens. There’s also a farmyard and playground here for the amusement of smaller visitors. Plan to spend a bit of time in both the local towns of Buxton and Bakewell – the former for its grand opera house and elegant spa town heritage, the latter for poking about in the market and sampling its famed sweet treats (which is better – the tart or the pudding? Well, there’s only one way to settle that debate…)

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
L'establiment us enviarà més informació sobre el registre d'entrada 2 dia/es abans de la vostra arribada.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
Està prohibit portar Roof tents.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.
Les reserves són personals i intransferibles.
S'ha de respectar el silenci absolut entre les 22:00 i les 8:00.

Els gossos han d'estar fermats i vigilats en tot moment.

Vehicles

Està prohibit que els vehicles circulin de 23:00 a 7:00.
Només es permet aparcar un vehicle al costat de la parcel·la. Els vehicles addicionals s'han d'aparcar a la zona designada.

Visites

Els visitants han d'abandonar les instal·lacions abans de les 22:30.
