What customers say
Excellent site, with spotless, up-to-date facilities like showers, washrooms, and a kitchen. Spacious, well-kept sites and a prime spot for Peak District adventures. Some road noise noted, but rarely an issue. Doggy walking zone is a hit!

Lovely clean site and facilities. Excellent…
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (large, twin axle)
Liked Lovely clean site and facilities.
Excellent location for exploring Buxton & Bakewell. Walk to the pub is a good 25-30 minutes and the last part uphill but at least all on footpaths.
Each pitch is separated from the next by shrubs, which offered some privacy and loved by the birds.
We would probably have preferred one of the smaller pitches which had a view, but had booked last minute so no longer available.
Disliked Road noise from early morning, but other reviewers had made us aware of this and so it wasn't a big problem.

Liked Had a great stay with the kids for 2 nights. Warm, clean facilities with everything we needed! The kids loved the communal area with the games and TV. And the little nature trail by the field was a nice distraction for them.

Good all round site.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Clean and tidy small and compact. Toilet block lovely and clean showers really nice and no push buttons. Good dog walking area. Good location to Buxton/ Bakewell/Castleton and Eyam. Road could be noisey but after a few beers, slept like a log. Peaceful and relaxing! WiFi was good because as soon as you left the campsite no signal!!
Disliked No grass pitch and open site (no barrier). But we used our alco lock and a wheel clamp. So not an issue. Never done a handstanding pitch before, so missed the grass for the dogs, so not a dislike just not for us.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review. We are glad you liked our site, location and all the facilities on offer to our guests. Due to the uncertainty of the weather and being open all year round full hard-standing pitches do work best for us however we are glad you had a relaxing stay and thankyou for the recommendation. We would happily welcome you back if you did decide to return to us in the future.

Liked Super facilities block, probably the best I've seen, lovely lounge and field area, convenient for Buxton and lovely countryside.
Disliked Bit of traffic noise from the road - otherwise, I'd have given it 10.
