喜欢 Nice site. Great sea views. Staff very friendly. Showers were always hot despite water pressure issues. Liked the shop and takeaway. Well signed around the site and provided with maps on check in.

不喜欢 Dog field was insecure. Massive gaps under fence and gate meant dogs regularly escaping. Nice tarmac roadways around static caravans instantly turned into dusty gravel tracks where tourers were situated and then dirt tracks where tents were situated. Felt a bit like we were being ‘classed’! One main toilet block for all tourer and tent pitches meant that within 10 mins of them being cleaned they were filthy again. Shame the access path to the beach wasn’t better maintained and was very steep. Selling point for the site was the proximity to the beach and access paths available. But on arrival, it’s 30-40ft above the beach with a very steep overgrown path down.

It is also good to know you liked the shop, takeaway, signage and maps provided at check in. With regards to the dog field, it is provided as an exercise area and is not advertised as fully secure. Dogs should always be supervised, particularly as not all dogs behave in the same way around fencing or gates. The gravel tracks and paths are part of the site design and planning requirements. They help with drainage and water absorption, which is especially important on a cliff top site where reducing erosion risk matters. We do not advertise direct beach access from the park. Crows Nest is situated on a cliff top, and the cliff is closer to 300ft than 30ft. The coastal footpath is part of the national trail and is not maintained by the park. The location gives fantastic sea views and access to coastal walks, but safe beach access is via recognised the path to Cayton Bay rather than directly down the cliff. The toilet blocks are cleaned regularly, but during busy periods they can unfortunately be left in a poor condition by some guests between cleans. Thank you again for your feedback.

喜欢 Well kept site, friendly owners, quiet & peaceful. Proximity to town for shopping but still far enough away to enjoy the peace. The wet room was brilliant. Great showers, no stupid push buttons every 30 seconds. The on site Egg Shed with fresh veg was great and a fantastic little nursery where we spent a tidy penny on some really good quality but cheap plants

喜欢 Great site. Great facilities. Shower blocks were really great quality. Staff very helpful. Lots to do on site. Very child friendly. Really relaxed atmosphere for such a huge site, Which was really nice.

不喜欢 Some of the advertised food vans did not turn up on the night which caused a little disappointment and last minute requirements to head out and find an alternative. Some of the pitches were on a real incline leading to lots of people needing to use ramps and blocks to try and get their vans level. The ground wasn’t very even and this caused real issues when it rained as all the water collected in grooves under the awning and tent making it like a bog. WiFi worked great in main buildings. But further into the site. Was like a black hole. Bit disappointing that dogs had to be kept on a lead on the dog exercising field. As this should be the perfect place to let pooches run off their excessive energy having been leashes everywhere else on the park.

喜欢 Tranquility. Pitch sizes. Wildlife.

不喜欢 Gents toilet block was being decorated and so was locked up all 3 nights we were there. So we were told to use ladies toilets. There were no signs up telling the ladies that there may be gents in there and that caused a few awkward exchanges. The farm shop was also being refurbished so we weren’t able to take advantage of this. But it looked great from the outside.

喜欢 Mix of accommodation types all well dispersed across the site. Friendly couple that ran the site. Clean. Accessible. Quiet.

不喜欢 Water pressure in the showers occasionally was a little frustrating. The tumble dryer in the laundry. £1 for 20 minutes. After £8 spent. Gave up trying to dry our clothes and bought a rotary dryer and hung them up outside instead.

不喜欢 Track leading to the site. Drainage of pitches not great, very boggy. Chemical disposal point - no flush or running water.

喜欢 Well maintained site, well laid out and well thought out. Nice little shop/reception/cafe which was a good meeting/focal point and all the staff were very friendly.

不喜欢 This site definitely love a good sign! A lot of effort has gone in to printing and laminating.
