喜欢 Location was great and views amazing Toilets exceptionally clean. Lovely games room. Pool was lovely and warm. Midday checkout meant we could use the pool in the morning before we left. Staff really helpful. Playground looked great for kids.

不喜欢 We had bad weather so didnt see the sunset - we'll just have to go back!

来自经理: Thank you so much for your lovely review, Alison. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the stunning views, our location and the facilities during your stay at Morfa Bychan Holiday Park. It's wonderful to know that you were able to make the most of the swimming pool, games room and our later checkout time, and we're especially pleased that our team helped make your visit a memorable one. We did have a little smile at your comment about missing the sunset! That's definitely a good reason to come back and visit us again. Hopefully next time the weather will be a little kinder and you'll be able to enjoy one of the spectacular sunsets that we're so fortunate to have here on the coast. Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. We would be delighted to welcome you back to Morfa Bychan Holiday Park in the future. Kind regards, The Morfa Bychan Holiday Park Team 😊

喜欢 The location is great with lovely views from the pitches. Great pub and I imagine the pub garden is very popular in the summer. The aviary is a nice touch. Good, spacious showers with wet rooms at the pub. Though the site is on a slope they have done a great job of levelling the pitches.

不喜欢 You choose your own pitch. However there is one pitch that has no electricity close and we ended up on that pitch. We only have a ten metre cable and that wouldn't reach the hookup points on the next site. We had to pitch off the flat surface and it still ended up pulling the socket point on our van out. Luckily our neighbours let us borrow tools. This was only a problem because we didn't have a longer cable. Unfortunately we had no hot water for the entire weekend. Partner mentioned it on Friday but still cold on Sunday. Haven't seen this in any other reviews so I assume this is unusual.

来自经理: Thankyou for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and liked our site, facilities and that our staff were helpful. Thankyou for the recommendation and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

喜欢 Our second stay after visiting orkney: Good wifi Great shower block and facilities Lovely setting Lovely to watch the rabbits.

不喜欢 Again put next to park and bins instead of on the free pitches in the next row. Had ball kicked into awning and into table whilst eating - this is a parenting issue rather than site issue - as well as hitting van numerous times. Better to put families closer to the park rather than couple so that they can watch there children.

来自经理: Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us again after your trip to Orkney. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the facilities, WiFi, setting and, of course, our resident rabbits. We're very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced around your pitch. We would encourage any guest who experiences something like this to let us know at the time, as we will always do our best to resolve it. Football games are not permitted on site for exactly the reasons you've described, and had we been aware of the situation, we would have taken action straight away. We also appreciate your feedback regarding pitch allocation. While we can't always guarantee specific locations, we're always happy to discuss alternatives where availability allows. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to Wick River Campsite again in the future — and not next to the park next time!

喜欢 Great Location Peaceful Good facilities

喜欢 1st stay on way to Orkney. Lovely site Great facilities

不喜欢 Pitch next to park as a couple, even though families were further away and free spaces away from the park. May be better to pitch families closer and those without children further away. No Internet signal throughout stay but may have been due to bad weather.

来自经理: Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and found the facilities to be great. We appreciate your suggestion regarding pitch locations. Where possible, we’re happy to accommodate preferences, so please feel free to ask at reception during your stay and we can sometimes move you to an alternative pitch if space allows. We hope to welcome you back to Wick River Campsite on your next trip north.

喜欢 Quiet and fairly private pitches. Good Location Great facilities - clean and loved that each of the three showers is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Very handy. Good wifi service. Electric cables provided on our pitch which was really useful as we didnt have to dig ours out. Definitely a bonus!

喜欢 Quiet campsite with amazing view. Love that you can choose where you pitch. Basic toilets were very clean. Though we didn't purchase anything the pizza/coffee van looked lovely. Good location for a short walk to the reservoir and local pubs

喜欢 A lovely, peaceful campsite with great hosts and a lovely welcome. The facilities exceeded our expectations and were immaculate. The pigs and cows were definitely a highlight of our visit and we really enjoyed the bacon from the farm shop. Thank you Pat and John.

来自经理: Thank you so much Alison for this heartfelt review. This means a lot to us. It was lovely meeting you both and we hope you managed the woodland walk this morning. Ahh the cooking smell of bacon on a camp site will catch everyone's interest, and thank you for supporting Park Hill Farm by buying some bacon from us. As you know it's all from our own herd of pigs. Our www.parkhillfarm.co.uk website has information on the piggies and cattle which may be of interest. We hope you get home feeling rested, and to see you again this summer when you need some additional R and R! Thank you again for taking the time to review us. Best wishes John and Pat

喜欢 Location near to beautiful scenery. Welcoming staff Dated but very clean toilets Offer to have food cooked even though it was closed.

喜欢 Great welcome. Lovely to see the animals every day. Great amenities. Opportunity to see WW2 anti-aircraft battery - really interesting. Lots of informations with maps of local walks available. Short walk to Walkington and nice walk to Beverley also. Convenient for Morrisons

喜欢 Great location with a lovely walk along the canal Quiet and peaceful Clean toilet block Lovely pub with reasonable prices Friendly and welcoming on arrival.

不喜欢 Water in washing up area didnt get very hot and was open to the elements. I am guessing that this is because it was mostly larger motor homes that wouldn't need that facilitity. Minor thing for and worth it for the location.

喜欢 Great and helpful staff. We arrived and someone was on our pitch. Was sorted immediately. Short walk to the coastal path Clean toilets and showers. We had one hot, sunny day and one wet and miserable one but no issues with cleanliness on either day. Quiet and friendly vibe with lots of families. Electric was reasonably priced. We paid £2 on the advice of the lovely bar staff. Much cheaper than paying the extra cost for an electric pitch on other sites and we still had credit after our 40 hours on the site.

不喜欢 There was an issue with the hot water on the first day but they worked hard to solve this and it was warmer on the second Though clean, the toilets are dated and probably due for a revamp. That wouldn't stop us returning if we were in this area again though.
