喜欢 Our 2nd visit here. Last time we got a taxi into the city but this time we got the bus, which was just a stroll across the road. City definitely worth the visit - we went to the Palacio Aljafeira - but beware we missed out on tickets last year so booked ahead this year. Friendly welcome and a good sized pitch.

不喜欢 As last time, the chemical toilet near the exit was a bit grim. Should be cleaned more frequently. However, our main gripe this time is we paid €17 to do two loads of washing and one of tumble drying. The dryer only half- dried the load despite being on the highest setting and many items of our clothing came out with brown rust-like spots that weren't there before. It was the evening before we left, so we didn't get a chance to mention this. We used the first two washing machines just inside the door. No WiFi outside public areas

喜欢 Nice site, in a valley about 30kms from Jaen. Overall though we felt it was very expensive for the standard of the bathroom facilities and would probably choose somewhere else next time. We walked down a very steep hill into the town and along with some shops for provisions, there was a nice nature walk, which was unfortunately curtailed because of falling rocks/ trees. Pro tip: If you're approaching the campsite from Ronda BE SURE to follow the WRITTEN directions from Pitch Up. We just clicked on the Maps button and it took us over a very narrow mountain path. Thankfully, we didn't meet another motorhome coming the other way, as there was nowhere to stop or turn around!

不喜欢 The showers were a bit disappointing. The first one I tried had only a hand held shower, so I tried a second which had a wall fitting. Unfortunately, only after I was undressed and turned it on, I realised that the shower head was faulty - leading to half the water flow just running down the wall and the other half spurting out in random directions. Thankfully, on the 2nd day, I did manage to find one that worked. The site was quiet, so I was able to try another. It just needs the shower head to be replaced, but I'm surprised the cleaner hasn't notified that. In common with other reviewers, we did hear loud music at night, but it didn't stop us sleeping.

喜欢 Nice, pretty remote site in a natural park, on the coast. Nice walks to pebble beaches and the Isleta del Moro - a small fishing village. Good bathroom facilities. By far the best thing about this site was the restaurant which was fantastic and very inexpensive. Had the BEST tinto de verano I've ever had in Spain - think they add vermouth to give it a fresh aftertaste. Good shop too. We wanted to do quite a bit of washing and there were 4 washers but there was only one dryer for general use which was out of order when we arrived and stayed that way for our 5 night stay (despite there being TWO allocated dryers for pet bedding - go figure). We couldn't air dry because there were 40 mph winds.

不喜欢 We have an 8m long motorhome and were allocated a VERY narrow plot at the end of a row (see pictures), which my talented husband managed to manoeuvre us into. But it meant there was little to no outside space to sit out, whilst ALL of our neighbours enjoyed a large sunny oblong plot with plenty of room not only for their outfit, but also various awnings/ tents/ tables/ chairs/ bikes. We stayed there one night but then went to the office to politely ask if we could move for the remaining 4 nights of our stay. We were initially told there were no appropriate vacant spaces - despite there being plenty on a site of over 200 pitches. When we asked about the vacant plot on our row we were told we could have it for one night, which was no use. It remained VACANT for the rest of our stay, apart from the last night, when they allocated it to a small camper van. This took away from what otherwise was a great site.

喜欢 Nice location in a valley, with a small pebble beach. The restaurant looked nice although we didn't try it. The shop was well stocked and sold delicious fresh croissants and bread (the cereales bread was gorgeous). The site management are clearly making lots of improvements. We had some issues with the showers - inconsistent water temperature and the light sensors in the cubicles causing them to switch off incessantly. This has been reported to the site and they sent a very nice and professional reply. Just a note.... the road down to the site is pretty steep. This didn't give us any problems going down or up, but it seemed the site had to deploy a tractor to pull a fairly old motorhome up!

不喜欢 The pitches were VERY tight, even though we previously notified our dimensions (8 metres). Everyone else around us struggled parking within the pitches and some abandoned altogether!

喜欢 Nice, clean, well laid out site, with a welcoming bar and reception. Pool and surrounding area looked inviting, but it wasn't quite warm enough to use it. We got an Uber into Benidorm and back, rather than use the train, which wasn't too expensive, but the highlight was walking into L'Albir. It was a pretty little seaside town with a buzzy vibe - all the bars and restaurants that were open were busy. There was also an open air market, where we bought fresh bread. Highly recommend a visit here.

不喜欢 The showers were clean and generally good, but some were like high pressure hoses and others were literally dribbling out (and oscillating between hot and cold water). This meant abandoning one shower block (as all the other cubicles were in use) and walking to one further away - where incidentally another cubicle had the same problem with the shower head. They could all do with checking and replacing faulty ones. This was the only downside to this site - everything else was great.

喜欢 Right next to the beach. Good, clean, hot showers and good sized pitches. I was able to attend a free yoga class, which was nice. The restaurant looked nice and you get a discount on the menu del dia but we didn't fancy the pig's head! Good supermarkets nearby, but the whole area just wasn't to our taste.

不喜欢 Not much privacy between pitches. VERY narrow one-way road around the site which was tight for our 8m motorhome. The area feels a bit sterile, with lots of high rise apartments and Magic World (which was obviously in closed season), but we walked to the old town which was attractive

喜欢 Good sized pitches, easy and friendly check in. Unfortunately there had recently been a storm and the beach and parts of the site were adversely affected. We didn't use the restaurant but the shop was really well stocked and had fresh bread. The bathrooms were clean and well serviced, although it was tricky to shower in the dark when the power went off in further high winds!

不喜欢 Wifi was intermittent, but this was a result of the high winds and was nobody's fault.

喜欢 Well kept site very close to the beach, with clean bathroom facilities and good wifi. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Good location, between two towns, both with train stations. Unfortunately, we stayed just after a storm, which meant beach access was tricky and all trains were cancelled. The pool area looks lovely - although it wasn't the weather for a dip! We also ate at the restaurant which was nice - with reasonably priced bottles of wine.

不喜欢 A minor point, but guest communication could be improved. We weren't told on arrival how to get onto the wifi and had to go back to reception to be given a separate code. This then expired after a couple of days (not told this in advance) and had to go back to reception again for another code. There were also works carried out on the bathroom facilities without notice. All bathroom facilities were roped off - with no timeframe given. That said, we would still go back. Also - the shower room lights are on a motion sensor, which goes on when you enter. Unfortunately, they go off while you're in the shower, with no way of getting them back on without dashing out halfway through your shower in a towel!! Please can you rectify this?

喜欢 No frills campsite in a very convenient location. Not far from main road but peaceful and quiet. Large pitches with a nice outlook onto fields. Relatively expensive in very cold weather, due to the pay as you use electricity. Although we didn't use it, there was a little shed with fresh produce for sale. Very friendly owner.

不喜欢 My husband tried the outdoor shower. It was warm, but not particularly hot. He didn't linger, as it was December!

喜欢 Convenient for our purpose (to see family locally), although you couldn't walk to anywhere safely on the surrounding roads. As it was winter, we didn't look at the water park. The facilities were clean and warm. We arrived in the dark and were surprised when we awoke to find a full- sized lynx helicopter parked next to our pitch!

不喜欢 Not a dislike as such, but we had to check in by 5pm as reception closed then. It made our journey a bit stressful as there was no late arrivals procedure.

喜欢 You would never know this was here - nestled behind a cinema complex and a short distance off the main road. It was quiet enough and was very convenient for the Ponders End train station - only 20 minutes into Liverpool Street Station. The pitch was a good size and the showers were clean. The most notable thing though was what a warm welcome we received on arrival. I met 3 different young people at that time and all of them made a point to say hello and give a genuine welcome. Excellent value for money, for the location.

不喜欢 The shower temperature was just warm enough not to be actually cold. If I was staying longer I would have complained!

喜欢 Good location for getting the bus into Bath. Toilets ok. There was a firework display on the neighbouring field but the owners notified us as soon as we booked. We enjoyed the free show. The site wasn't awful but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

不喜欢 There were a few bits of debris around our pitch - an old tyre and other things. There was a slightly derelict shed at the side of our pitch too, which made it seem a bit scruffy.

喜欢 Great location with good transport links into both Cheltenham and Gloucester. It is near a busy road and an airfield, so there is some background noise, but the owners have set it out nicely, with lots of greenery to absorb most of that. We slept well. We had quite a lot of laundry to do and the prices for the washer and dryer were among the most reasonable we've found in the UK or abroad.

不喜欢 I'm not usually a light sleeper, but I did wake up early due to the traffic noise nearby. It wouldn't stop me staying again though, if I was in the area.

喜欢 Reasonably sized pitches. Nice welcome. The groundsman was working really hard to maintain the pitches, despite the heavy rain.

不喜欢 There is no delineation between the pitches in the middle and - because everyone is in rows facing the water - it feels like you are in a goldfish bowl. Other sites have landscaped pitches into curves and cul-de-sacs, with hedges etc between them so that it feels more private. The showers were OK, but there was a storm when we visited and the door to the ladies toilet block doesn't close, so it was freezing. It wasn't helped by the velux window being wide open too. I understand you need ventilation, but each cubicle seemed to have an extractor. The timing on the shower seemed unnecessarily short - about 10 seconds per cycle. Given that the average shower is 4 minutes this became tedious and all these issues just made showering an uncomfortable experience.

喜欢 Lovely site, with a personal welcome from Karen and Simon. Pretty little orchard site with all the amenities you could need, including laundry. Best thing is the proximity to the lovely Alma pub. After reading the reviews we booked for Sunday lunch, which was delicious and good value. Simon also gave us directions to a local park, for a nice woodland stroll.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike as such. There is no motorhome drive- over point for grey waste, but we managed by dispensing to buckets.

喜欢 Our second time of staying here. Great location for LeShuttle and for visiting Dover Castle, which is definitely worth a visit and has breathtaking views over the white cliffs. As the weather was cooler this time, we appreciated the heater in the shower room. The water pressure in the showers could be better though. Only thing to note: if someone is using the adjoining shower cubicle, the water temperature goes down - maybe something that could be improved. On arrival in Dover, we needed to stock up on food , but found it tricky to find somewhere to park our motorhome. We were advised to use the New Dover Road Park & Ride to visit Canterbury and it was excellent. Just £4 to park and included the bus fare for up to 6 people - it had dedicated motorhome spaces and even services, if needed. Dover could take a leaf out of Canterbury's book.

不喜欢 Not a dislike as such, but on the site leaflet it said there was a 'path' to the local village and we decided to visit the pub for a drink. Just be aware that - while it's well sign-posted - the path is round the edge of a muddy field and across the middle of another muddy farmer's field, so you will need walking boots/ wellies. It took a while to clean my trainers afterwards!

喜欢 We liked the location, the friendly welcome and the farm shop. They whizz you round a quick whistle stop tour of the site on arrival, but you might not always remember where water points are, for example. Not a big problem - we found everything we needed. The pitches are huge - and nicely separated by large hedges. The showers were clean and spacious. We didn't visit the town, but used the site as a base to visit WW sites, including Ypres.

喜欢 We liked the friendly welcome and spotless showers. Our confirmation said check-in was from 12 noon but when we got there the office was closed for lunch. There was a helpful note on the door though, saying to go ahead and choose a pitch and come back later to check in, so no problem. The restaurant area looked nice, but we didn't try it. We enjoyed the woodland walk into town, where we ate at the bakery. We were also given a really helpful site leaflet with lots of good info. We don't have kids, but clearly a lot of thought had put into their needs. All in all, a lovely stay.

喜欢 Nice welcome on arrival. We got a pitch with a nice view over Oberonn. It was quite muddy due to the recent rain, but fine for a couple of days. The facilities were also ok. I noticed an earlier review about the showers being too hot and the management cooling them down. Given that it's now autumn and it was particularly cold, the showers felt just about warm enough - maybe time to adjust the temperature back up. There was a restaurant but we didn't try it.

不喜欢 Nothing - although it seems you only get 10 minutes free WiFi before buying a voucher. Luckily we have sim cards but others might find that difficult.
