喜欢 This camp was a stopover to Cornwall, pitch was ok and had a nice lake to walk around, was basic but had all your needs for one night. Busstop outside for yeovil but doesnt run very often by the looks of it. Good wifi in motorhome.

不喜欢 Pub wasnt really very welcoming and drinks tasted off and not fresh, im a big guinness drinker and the Guinness tasted off and no life in it and my husband had an caffreys ale which didnt taste right either, man behind the bar didnt make conversation and we felt uncomfortable in there. We had one drink and left. Pitch was aliitle bit overpriced for what was there. Camp was in the middle of nowhere and couldnt walk anywhere as we like to have a stroll out.

喜欢 This camp was very welcoming and the guy who was driving the holiday camp buggy showed us to our pitch and was very helpful, Entertainment was really good, nice staff, lots of choice with food outlets and food was nice and not too expensive, lots of Activities around the camp to do, Music playing in toilet and shower block, short bus ride into Newquay(busstop outside the camp), Retail park with Morrisons, Lidl and Mcdonalds about 15 min walk and theres a busstop to Perranporth outside there.

不喜欢 Toilet and shower block looked alittle bit tired and had a infestation of midges and was annoying while showering. No wifi unless you paid for it , however free in the Entertainment block but wasnt good.

喜欢 This camp was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and we loved every minute of our stay, loads to do on the camp and a lovley welcoming pub 15 min walk away, shower and toilet block like a 5 ☆ hotel and so clean, Bude is a 40 min walk or a short bus ride away. We had a lovley big pitch. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Great free wifi also. Felt safe walking around the camp at night, toilet block well lit up.

不喜欢 Nothing!! oh just one thing we wished we could of stayed longer :)

不喜欢 We had a pitch in the corner which was abit difficult to reverse in to as there was a couple of cars parked by the caravans next to us and our motorhome is quite big.

不喜欢 This camp was not sign posted and was down a very uneven one way path. Only one toilet and shower room that wasnt cleaned very often with no toilet paper and bin overflowing, shower was very small and no room to get changed in there. We paid for a hardstanding pitch but we got a muddy and half grass pitch instead ,it was a good thing it wasnt raining. Electric posts looked like they hadnt be serviced for years and we were shocked that they still worked. Very expensive , we understand IOW festival weekend is going to be more expensive but this was 4 times the price than it normally is. No wifi or area map offered. Very uncared for site and no host or reception to greet us. No safe walk way into Newport but there is a busstop at top of the path. Not much around to walk to really, Better cheaper camps around even on festival weekends.

喜欢 This camp was really clean and looked after with spacious pitches, friendly and welcoming staff, good location, there are a few shops and takeaways within a short walk and 4 pubs close by. Clean toilet and shower block busstop to southampton a few minutes away. Really nice camp.

不喜欢 The wifi was quite slow, the shower only had a hot temp and couldnt be changed. Main Road was a little bit noisy first thing.

喜欢 We love this camp and we regular visit for nights in our motorhome, the pitches are at the rear of a great cosy pub with lovley log burner, Great food, friendly staff & great little shop onsite. Nice big pitches and clean shower and toilet block, nice area ideal for worcester centre.

喜欢 This holiday park was very spacious and well laid out with big super pitches available which are great, clean toilets and shower blocks, big supermarket/ launderette on site, well looked after holiday park, a couple of nice pubs 20 minutes walk away and Burnham on sea is about 30 minutes walk away , Entertainment sounded good however we were there in the week out of season so it was only on Friday and Saturday. Nice and helpful staff, very welcoming, would definitely recommend to others and we will return but will be in season or on a Friday/Saturday out of season as we like to enjoy the Entertainment on the site.

不喜欢 The bar was open at 5 and shut by 9.30 (mon - Thurs)which if you wanted to stay around the camp we would of liked the bar to stay open later, we understand that it was out of season but there are still people staying there and paying for facilities.

喜欢 This camp is probably one of the most organised camps we have stopped at, the check in at reception was quick and straight forward, the amenities were clean and tidy, pitches were nice and big and plenty of room between them, WiFi free and good, camp easy to find just off the M5, short bus journey to Cheltenham and Gloucester right outside the camp entrance,

不喜欢 It didn't bother us but just bare in mind there are quite a few airplanes flying over quite late and early in the morning.

不喜欢 This park could do with some TLC in area, some outdoor lights weren't working especially the path up to the toilet facilities, hard standing pitches were small with no space around the van which got very muddy with the bad weather.

来自经理: Thank you for your review, all lighting is being replaced this week, unfortunately as it’s February and it’s such a natural site there will be parts that are quite muddy and looking a little messy with all the rain we’ve had. The pitches are all slightly different in width but all accommodate for large vehicles. It’s unfortunate your stay crossed over with these problems, would be great to welcome you back!

喜欢 We liked this camp as it had good bus routes to Paignton and then to Torquay, there was a nice bar and amenities, pleasant staff, clean and tidy camp with clean shower block Nice games room, Entertainment on most nights

不喜欢 Electric hook up was abit far from our pitch luckily our cable was 25m so it did reach. Abit of a narrow road on the entrance to the camp as could be abit tight in parts for two way traffic.

喜欢 The pitch was really big, short walk to the sea and a couple of nice pubs a short walk away, bus stop to Llandudno, prestatyn a short walk away also. There are good cycle routes to Colwyn bay.

不喜欢 The campsite felt very regimental and not very welcoming, our pitch was very open and didn't feel very private as it was right by the entrance. Toilet and shower block was very dated and dark. It was very noisy especially while trying to sleep at night as it's right by the motorway which we know can't be helped but it did bother us after a bit.

We have just upgraded one of the shower blocks and the facilities by reception will be having the same upgrade in the near future. The park has been under new ownership the last couple of years and we are slowly updating our facilities, as you can appreciate this can take time.

喜欢 This campsite was very tidy and well kept, clean toilet and shower block, good location for a couple of towns within a short cycle or bus ride, a nice friendly pub just at the entrance of the camp, the owner was very friendly.there was a convenient store and chip shop within 10 minutes walk

不喜欢 Pitch was on abit of a slope otherwise we disliked nothing else.

不喜欢 The camp is situated down a 2 mile two way narrow road which is dangerous when you have two way traffic and not many cut in to move over, they should make the road one way as it is nerve wracking and off putting to revisit this camp There is nothing around within walking distance and no safe bike path either , if you stay here you definitely need a car as we only had a motorhome this was difficult to get around. No firepit allowed but they allow BBQ which is abit strange so we had a fire on the beach which is near The camp isn't well lit of a nighttime and coming up from the beach is very dark so needed torches. WiFi very expensive too.

We thank you for acknowledging our amazing location with peace and quiet, panoramic sea views and lots of space, the stars reach all the way down to the sea with no light pollution. The confusion lays with your expectations of what you found, we advertise as being off the beaten track some 2 and half miles on a single track lane from the main road with the enphasis on arrival times and departure times to aid access, the main lane being a public highway is not under the control of the holiday park much similar to a lot of quiet secluded parks up and down the country. The Wales coastal path runs through the park and is a short 3 mile work to Aberystwyth, with the roadway only being 5 miles, but 2 miles to the nearest cycle route. We make a point to ask people, if they are going to be out and about after dark, which is after 10pm at the minute, to bring a torch. Our atmosphere and peace is helped by not having campfires, firepits or chimineas on every pitch so there are places to sit without the smoke and the subsequent late night revellery associated with a sit around the fire, which we encourage beach fires as long as things are tidied afterwards. The option of the wifi is for those who do still need to stay in contact woith the outside world, as there are a lot of 4g hotspots for varying operators around the park the wifi option which is controlled externally is not obligatory. Hopefully as with most of our returning customers we are the ideal spot to relax and unwind, bringing everything you need for your stay and watching those beautiful sunsets and the night sky as it turns from red to purple to black and the stars are like a pincushion without the light pollution to spoil it all.

不喜欢 Nobody in reception when we first arrived to greet us. Waited 15 minutes for lady to turn up to check us in. No Electric during the whole of our stay! Wasn't even offered a small refund after we paid for electric we never used as the electric post was broke.

来自经理: Mrs Sadler, you arrived during a busy period on a Whitsun week Friday. You called the number displayed to alert the warden of your arrival. The warden said she would be with her as soon as she had finished taking her current customer to their pitch. We personally escort customers to their pitches, and this can, occasionally, take time. Although this was not 15 minutes. With regard to the electric, yes there was a fault on her supply. you notified the Warden who offered to run a long lead from another pitch to your pitch or move you to another pitch. Both of which you declined saying “I’m only here for one night it doesn’t matter” Had you requested or intimated you wanted a refund of the cost of the electric, £4, for that night we would have happily done that. You have since contacted us directly and we have refunded the £4. We believe the review and subsequent scoring is unjustified.

喜欢 Ayr is not far and is a lovley seaside town. Nice pub down the road about 20 min walk away.

不喜欢 Firstly we got to reception the girl told us what pitch number we were in , we were not offered a map or a guide to entertainment until I asked and she reluctantly gave us them!!! The park has a big long drive which is difficult to get down in a motorhome if someone is coming up the other way! The park by where the motorhomes are is like a gypsy camp everyone is close together and we had a pitch right in the corner where reception for TV was none existent . Entertainment bar was very small and scruffy. We would not return here it's the worst parkdean we have ever been too.

喜欢 This park has lovley views of the castle and a nice pub on site, Stranraer is about an hour on the bus and we'll worth a visit, cafe and games room also which was good, lots of wildlife , lady was helpful and friendly, we would definitely return if we was that way again.

不喜欢 The only thing we didn't like was the unisex toilets/showers. They have the room to make another block to make them separate.

喜欢 The park was very clean and tidy, very well kept, Loch Lomond a five minute walk with a few nice walking trail paths to follow.woman was very helpful, pitches were nicely spread out and spacious.

不喜欢 The park shop could of had a few more meal items as it only seemed to sell snacks etc.... In the middle of nowhere and once you have done the Loch Lomond walk there's not much else to do. The closest village is a mile but no safe Road to walk only a field to cross to get there , not much there either. Got WiFi but it kept cutting out and had to sign in all the time and that got annoying

来自经理: Thank you for your review. The onsite shop sells basic items and snacks. The village shop is just under a mile and had you asked I would have given you the directions for walking using the right of way not across fields) which allows you to walk safely without going onto the main road. The coop is 3 miles away by car. We do clearly state all of this in our description of where we are, and what is in the area. We are a quiet and secluded park which is usually why customers come to us. To address the wifi issues if you had reported this to us we could have reported it, or you could have reported it directly to our wifi management company who would then possibly been able to resolve the issue.
