喜欢 Lovely site, good variation in the pitches. Quiet and not too busy but still with a little bit of quaint atmosphere. Surprisingly empty for the middle of school holidays. Great proximity to monkey world and the butterfly sanctuary.

不喜欢 Eaten ALIVE by mosquitos. Even with the fly blinds down in the RV we got bitten so many times, no obvious standing water nearby so don't know where they were coming from

喜欢 Lovely location between monkey haven and butterfly world aswell as GGs free entertainment. Peaceful site with nice clean . comfortable shower and toilet block . Good size pitches . Two lovely residents on site .very welcoming and very informative

不喜欢 The field is full of holes probably because of the weather gotta be careful when sitting on outdoor chairs or step to van as legs drop into the holes . Unfortunately we came when mosquitos were about . Made things a little uncomfortable. Never saw the owners of site although we were out most days so not sure if they visit the site.

喜欢 Quiet, trees, price

不喜欢 Only 1 shower and toilet. No dishwashing. The cats from the neighbours walking around.

喜欢 We had a good pitch, facilities very clean. Quiet and good for travelling East Cowes.

不喜欢 No washing up, facilities would be pushed if site was busy. You needed to go out and about by vehicle.
Ground fine for caravan & campervan but it was very uneven for a tent.

喜欢 The quietness and the charming monkey calls in the morning. Very wooded and beautiful site

不喜欢 Pity there’s no way to walk to the village due to road having no pavement

喜欢 Nothing

不喜欢 This camp was not sign posted and was down a very uneven one way path.
Only one toilet and shower room that wasnt cleaned very often with no toilet paper and bin overflowing, shower was very small and no room to get changed in there.
We paid for a hardstanding pitch but we got a muddy and half grass pitch instead ,it was a good thing it wasnt raining.
Electric posts looked like they hadnt be serviced for years and we were shocked that they still worked.
Very expensive , we understand IOW festival weekend is going to be more expensive but this was 4 times the price than it normally is. No wifi or area map offered.
Very uncared for site and no host or reception to greet us.
No safe walk way into Newport but there is a busstop at top of the path.
Not much around to walk to really,
Better cheaper camps around even on festival weekends.

喜欢 Campsite was wonderful and peaceful. Email communication was outstanding and helpful from start to finish. Campsite was clean and the toilet and shower were very clean, thank you.

Fresh water taps.

不喜欢 The issue with the electric and it not being resolved, and we had to share our friends point all weekend, maybe it would be a good idea to number the electric point with the plot numbers so there is no confusion.

Also it would be worth noting that if you are attending the festival or walking into Newport town the road is very dangerous and it would be best to get the bus at the top of the lane, we managed to get a bus ticket for the whole weekend and we didn't use the festival bus and it was amazing, bus drivers were so helpful and friendly.

It would have been lovely to have met the campsite owner.

Also could do with another toilet and shower.

喜欢 Liked the quietness and feel of being off the beaten track, yet only 10-12 minutes from the town centre of Newport by car or bus.

不喜欢 The fact there was only 1 shower and 1 toilet, the week we were there was IOW festival week and it was very busy, one more shower and toilet would have made the stay that much more comfortable.
