Just 100 metres from the sea and about 15 minutes’ drive from the historic centre of Marbella is a splendid spot for a break on the Costa del Sol – and that location is one of the reasons why Camping Marbella Playa has been a thriving business since 1969. Book a pitch here and you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from the soft sands of Playa de las Cañas, a fabulous place for snorkelling, swimming and watersports – or for quiet days of relaxing on the sand and wandering off to a beach bar from time to time. And while proximity to the beach may be what first grabs your attention, it’s also worth noting that there are plenty of other attractions around this area. The stylish resorts of Puerto Banús and Marbella are both 15 minutes’ drive away, with Fuengirola (20 minutes) and Torremolinos (half an hour) also close by. Waterparks, animal attractions, golf courses, canyoning adventures and boat trips are among the many other options for your days out. Back on site, the numbered pitches all have electric hookup and plenty of space to get your awning and outdoor chairs set up. A launderette, wifi connection and bathrooms with toilets and showers (including accessible facilities) mean all the essentials are sorted; for food, you can dine at the site’s restaurant, pick up supplies at the well-stocked supermarket or wander out to one of the local eateries. Other facilities include a play area, a sauna and an open-air pool with plenty of deck chairs and sun loungers – and you can complete that picture of relaxation with a drink from the site’s bar.

喜欢 Die sehr freundliche Begrüßung von Natascha ist hervor zu heben. Angenehm war auch der sehr gut sortierte Supermarkt mit seinen angenehmen Preisen. Der Sanitärbereich war immer sauber und gepflegt. Es gab keine Beanstandungen.
Für Fahrten in die benachbarten Städte gibt es an der Hauptstraße eine Bushaltestelle.

不喜欢 .... aber da kann der Campingplatz nichts zu: Es gibt kaum Infrastruktur im Aussenbereich.

喜欢 Ein tolle sehr freundliche Crew. Immer darauf aus, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Natascha ist super. Es ist ruhig auf dem Platz und man kann sich total entspannen.

不喜欢 Eine Hundedusche wäre nach einem Strandbesuch toll.

不喜欢 Da der Platz nach mehrjähriger Pause gerade wiedereröffnet ist, kann man keine Wunderdinge erwarten. Besucht den Platz, dann kann noch mehr investiert werden. Es reicht aber auch so.

喜欢 Pleasant site, quiet, nice staff, great for the beach, big pool, big supermarket on site, facilities were in abundance and very clean.
Pitches are a good size, level, all have electric and water taps, shaded, but just enough you get sun on your pitch.

不喜欢 Not much around, so if you’re good being onsite and the occasional walk to the beach etc this site is for you

喜欢 The friendly welcome at reception and the excellent supermarket adjacent to the site. No restaurant facilities but a breakfast truck in the mornings.
The pool looked a good size with plenty of space for sunbeds. Currently only operational at weekends.
The facilities were clean and we had a choice of pitch. There is direct beach access but due to the weather we did not get chance to see this.

不喜欢 The site has been closed for a number of years and is building business back up. There are dilapidated buildings on the service road before the entrance to the campsite which is a little off putting and not related to the site.

As a stopover for one night it was ideal for us but as along stay site for the winter it needs a little more input into the site which I believe the owners intend to provide in time.

There are some minor cosmetic issues which would enhance/improve use of toilet and wash facilities eg improved lighting and more planting of shrubs and colour with potted plants/flowers. On a wet October day the surroundings were a little grim but can see the potential.

喜欢 Liked the site. The pool was fantastic. The grounds were kept very tidy.
Toilet facilities were excellent and very clean.
Like the proximity to the beach, which was a short walk out the back gate. 2 very nice restaurants short stroll.
Excellent large supermarket next to the front entrance.

不喜欢 There was no restaurant on site although there was a food truck by the pool, it only sold a small selection of drinks. No food.
A bar would have been nice too.

As lovely as the local beach is, water babies will no doubt be pleased to hear that there are more options nearby for splashing about, with Aquamijas (15 minutes’ drive) and Aqualand (half an hour) providing hours of fun among their wave pools and waterslides. Stepping away from the water, perhaps you’d like to visit the animals at Bioparc Fuengirola (20 minutes) and Selwo Aventura zoo (half an hour) or wander among the colourful residents of Monowa - Butterfly Park (20 minutes). There are more nature attractions over in Torremolinos (half an hour), which is home to both Crocodile Park and the Molino de Inca Botanical Garden. Guests with a thirst for more adventure can ride the ziplines and adventure circuits (for all ages) at Aventura Amazonia Marbella (five minutes) or get some speed up at the go-karting circuit in Fuengirola (20 minutes). For a quieter time, visit Castillo Sohail, overlooking Fuengirola’s beach, or find one of the area’s many golf courses for a round or two.
