Just 100 metres from the sea and about 15 minutes’ drive from the historic centre of Marbella is a splendid spot for a break on the Costa del Sol – and that location is one of the reasons why Camping Marbella Playa has been a thriving business since 1969. Book a pitch here and you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk from the soft sands of Playa de las Cañas, a fabulous place for snorkelling, swimming and watersports – or for quiet days of relaxing on the sand and wandering off to a beach bar from time to time. And while proximity to the beach may be what first grabs your attention, it’s also worth noting that there are plenty of other attractions around this area. The stylish resorts of Puerto Banús and Marbella are both 15 minutes’ drive away, with Fuengirola (20 minutes) and Torremolinos (half an hour) also close by. Waterparks, animal attractions, golf courses, canyoning adventures and boat trips are among the many other options for your days out. Back on site, the numbered pitches all have electric hookup and plenty of space to get your awning and outdoor chairs set up. A launderette, wifi connection and bathrooms with toilets and showers (including accessible facilities) mean all the essentials are sorted; for food, you can dine at the site’s restaurant, pick up supplies at the well-stocked supermarket or wander out to one of the local eateries. Other facilities include a play area, a sauna and an open-air pool with plenty of deck chairs and sun loungers – and you can complete that picture of relaxation with a drink from the site’s bar.

Liked From start to finish we had a lovely stay, we actually booked extra days we enjoyed it so much.
Although there was a language barrier the staff were very accommodating of this and went above and beyond to assist us.
Everywhere is lovely and clean.
Although the restaurant isn’t open yet due to work in progress there is a little snack bar beside the pool for drinks and icecreams.
Large shop right outside the camp and the prices we found very good.
Beautiful sandy beach within 5 minutes walk, bar and restaurant.
Plenty to do in the surrounding areas.
Looking forward to returning next year to see how far this new camp has come.

Disliked El recinto estaba descuidado, había muchísimos mosquitos, hojas de árboles y la limpieza escasa.

Liked Me gustó mucho volveremos a repetir seguro.La piscina muy grande ,las parcelas están muy bien y los baños muy limpios.Solo tenemos una queja que el enganche para la luz estaba muy lejos de la parcela.El personal del camping todos muy atentos. Para nosotros ha sido una grata experiencia que queremos volver a repetir en octubre para el puente del Pilar.

As lovely as the local beach is, water babies will no doubt be pleased to hear that there are more options nearby for splashing about, with Aquamijas (15 minutes’ drive) and Aqualand (half an hour) providing hours of fun among their wave pools and waterslides. Stepping away from the water, perhaps you’d like to visit the animals at Bioparc Fuengirola (20 minutes) and Selwo Aventura zoo (half an hour) or wander among the colourful residents of Monowa - Butterfly Park (20 minutes). There are more nature attractions over in Torremolinos (half an hour), which is home to both Crocodile Park and the Molino de Inca Botanical Garden. Guests with a thirst for more adventure can ride the ziplines and adventure circuits (for all ages) at Aventura Amazonia Marbella (five minutes) or get some speed up at the go-karting circuit in Fuengirola (20 minutes). For a quieter time, visit Castillo Sohail, overlooking Fuengirola’s beach, or find one of the area’s many golf courses for a round or two.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 6 day(s) of arrival.
