The cast of TOWIE has descended loudly and orangely upon the most glam resort on the Costa del Sol too, but don’t let that put you off camping in Marbella: it’s a gem of a place, set between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, with views of both from almost every spot (ask Suralan if you can see if this is true from his villa too). 24 beaches are at your beckon from Marbella campsites, the Golden Mile (actually four miles, pedantic peeps) has the poshest of posh villas and estates, and the harbour is the spot to spy frequently docked luxury yachts and cruise ships.
Into more quiet pursuits? Wander around the Old Town and Orange Square, walk the ancient city walls, visit one of the several museums or feel surreal among the ten Dali sculptures in the Avenida del Mar.
