How’s this for a splendid location for a seaside break? Camping Taimì is in the Tuscan resort of Marina di Massa, a mere five-minute stroll from the free sandy beach. This location – between the centres of Marina di Massa and Marina di Carrara – is a handy one too for amenities and activities. There are several places to eat or pick up food supplies within a few minutes’ walk, and you’ll have a great choice of free and equipped beach spots to pick from too. Can’t summon up the energy to head out in search of food? No problem – there’s a bar on site that sells fresh croissants for breakfast, salads and sandwiches at lunch and a tempting range of ice creams and doughnuts alongside all the usual drinks. It’s also open in the evenings for your post-beach cocktails or dinner. To keep you entertained on site, there's an open-air pool with sun loungers, along with a soccer cage and a library/book swap – picking something up from here and heading over to the shaded reading area (kitted out with hammocks and comfy chairs) is a fine use of an afternoon. Facilities have been well thought out here, with bathrooms that include amenities designed for kids and disabled visitors, plus a launderette and washing-up facilities. Dogs are welcome to join you on holidays here too, with an exercise area and dog shower on hand.

喜欢 Der Platz und das Waschhaus sind gepflegt und sauber.

不喜欢 Ein bisschen langweilig, für uns etwas zu ruhig. Es gibt gar kein Unterhaltungsprogramm auf dem Platz und auch in der Nähe eher wenig.
Kann der Campingplatz nichts dafür, aber die Straße wird als Rennstrecke genutzt und es ist die ganze Nacht Motorenkrach.

不喜欢 Sanitair: old, sometimes dirthy. A lot of noises in the evening/night.

喜欢 The pool was good although the rules aren't published on pitch up.
restaurant was excellent and the bakery across the road was amazing.

不喜欢 The pitches were very large bur it still felt very squashed in. people were walking in between pitches instead of using the roadway.
pool rules are 9 till 1 kids only 1 till 4 adults and 4 till 7 kids. didn't seem very fair.

喜欢 Personal (Rezeption) sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schnelle Abwicklung beim Check in und Check out.
Gute Lage - in Strandnähe.
Sanitäre Anlagen - ziemlich neu und geräumig.
Große Stellplätze - teils schatzig, teils sonnig - auf Wunsch kinderfrei.
Pool und Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz.
Alles in der Umgebing ist super mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.

不喜欢 Toiletten (Damen) waren nicht immer sauber, was aber nicht immer am Personal liegen muss....
Mitunter etwas laut von der Straße und/oder vom benachbarten Campingplatz.
Uns hat dies überhaupt nicht gestört - man hat ja schließlich Urlaub.

喜欢 Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Gastrobereich ist sehr gut geführt. Die Küchenchefin und die Bedienung waren hervorragend. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Dann war die ganze Anlage in einem gepflegten Zustand. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

不喜欢 Aber tatsächlich habe ich einige Negativpunkte.
Natürlich war unser Fahrzeug am Strom angeschlossen. Wenn wir unsere Induktionsplatte benutzen wollten, um Wasser zu kochen, viel ständig der Strom aus , oder wir unsere Elektrogrill-Pfanne eingeschaltet haben, viel auch ständig der Strom aus. Das war sehr nervig. Auf anderen Campingplätzen passiert das nicht, wie ich jetzt auch wieder erfahren habe.
Dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Toilettendruckspüler gerne klemmen und das Wasser unentwegt weiterläuft. Was für ein Wasserverbrauch da entsteht. Das müsstet ihr unbedingt in den Griff bekommen, denn das sind echte Zusatzkosten für Wasser und Abwasser, die da entstehen.
Der Pool sollte Ende Mai eröffnet werden.
Es wird an der Straße zu schnell gefahren. Teilweise geraßt. 30km Vorschrift, lächerlich. Interessiert niemanden. Traurig.

喜欢 Der Campingplatz ist ruhig gelegen und überschaubar. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer sauber. Ein Restaurant mit landestypischen Speisen ist im Campingplatz vorhanden und ringsum gibt es fußläufig erreichbare Restaurants. Auch das Meer ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

If you’re not one for lying on the beach you should find plenty of ways to keep busy nearby – perhaps riding bikes along the cycle path to Forte dei Marmi, taking a stroll along the wooded path in Ugo Pisa Sport Park or heading up into the Apuan Alps Park (about 20 minutes’ drive) for hikes, mountain biking and climbing along with a visit to the Monte Corchia cave system (an hour). A little way along the coast the Cinque Terre National Park (45 minutes) is also a wonderful place for a walk, as there’s a fabulous coastal path linking the villages. You can also see the scenery on a boat trip from Portovenere (an hour) – leave a little time to explore the village and its colourful seafront too, and to take a walk out to Lord Byron’s Cave. Elsewhere nearby there are several wineries to visit, or you could plan day trips to some of Tuscany’s attractions – Pisa (40 minutes), Florence (an hour and a half) and Siena (two hours) are all doable for days out.
