喜欢 Everything about this site was very good. Toilets were immaculate, liked the toilet/shower cubicle set up which suited have young kids too.
Little play area was a good extra.
Quiet and nice and spacious site

不喜欢 Only thing to improve would be to have a little shop a you have to drive into the village/town to anything forgotten

喜欢 Clean, friendly camp site in great countryside and convenient for Hay on Wye. Facilities were spotless. Nice touches like providing washing up liquid.

喜欢 Location great for visiting Hay-on-Wye nearby. Also good access to Brecon and beyond.
Spotlessly clean facilities and wonderful environmentally focussed grounds. Loved the wild camping area / meadow and the many insect houses etc.

不喜欢 They could do with a mirror at the site exit - locals really speed down the hill and can catch you out as you are turning out of the site

喜欢 The views were spectacular!! Absolutely stunning campsite, so clean and spotless all over, from the toilets and showers to pitches! Lovely and safe for my grandsons to play and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely be returning soon. Thanks so much for a brilliant weekend 😎

Once you’ve filled your boots in Hay-on-Wye’s numerous bookshops, there’s more to do in town, including exploring the castle, strolls and picnics by the river, and fortifying stops in the many hostelries and eateries. If you fancy further river ventures, make for Glasbury (10 minutes' drive away) to hire canoes and kayaks for trips down the Wye. Should you prefer the ease of an engine-driven craft, the base at Llangattock (40 minutes) has cruisers for daily hire. If it’s walks at height you’re after, Talgarth (15 minutes) is a starting point for paths up the Black Mountains’ highest peak, Waun Fach; for gentle wooded wanders with a waterfall at the end, plus wildlife spotting on the way, head over to the Pwll y Wrach nature reserve (20 minutes). To see the Beacons on horseback, there are treks of various lengths from Llangorse Multi Activity Centre (25 minutes), as well as indoor climbing and high up zipwires and rope walks both inside and out. If that’s not energetic enough, Oakerwood Leisure (40 minutes) has pastimes like paintballing, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting to get the adrenaline pumping. Historical type? Clamber round ancient sites like Crickhowell Castle and Llanthony Priory (35 and 45 minutes), puff through the hills on the Brecon Mountain Railway from Pant (50 minutes), or descend deep into mining heritage at the Big Pit National Coal Museum, an hour away.
