喜欢 Pitches, owners were great, beautiful site. Great river to paddle/ swim . Dog friendly, nice clean toilets/ showers. Good walks from site.

喜欢 Cleanest shower facilities I've ever seen! They were immaculate when we arrived and cleaned every day. Great welcome James and he was very helpful and fully contactable throughout our stay.

喜欢 Really well run site and the family who ownes it is very lovely and make you feel welcome. We felt very safe on site and it’s great for kids.
The river is very close and my son enjoyed his first fishing go and we even spotted a Red Kite bird.
Really recommend we will return one day

不喜欢 The 50p shower is a bit of a nuisance but bathrooms very clean

This part of the world has many enticing options for folk who like a good walk or bike ride on their hols: as well as local riverside paths, you might also like to consider setting off for the Elan Valley (half an hour’s drive) to ramble by lakes and waterfalls, or aim south to the trails of the Brecon Beacons National Park. For other outdoorsy days, there’s a fine golf course in Builth Wells (15 minutes) and the chance to see big birds take flight at the Red Kite Feeding Station in Rhyader (half an hour). The Brecon Mountain Railway (an hour) is a great choice for those who’d like to see the scenery at slow pace, and the Dolaucothi Roman gold mines likewise for folk intrigued by what lies beneath their feet. There’s a lot going on throughout the year in this area too – time your trip cleverly to tie in with the Hay-on-Wye Book Festival (45 minutes), the parades of fine beasts at the Royal Welsh Show (20 minutes) or the famed World Bog Snorkelling Championships (10 minutes).
