The quietness, people seemed to simply respect other’s privacy, drivers literally crawled round the site roads , plenty of dogs present but no barking to be heard
So relaxing

喜欢: Lovely well looked after site.
Showers are of a descent size with available hot water at all times.
There is a bar which can be opened if asked, as it was but we did not go.
Church next door which is worth a visit for what it is ! And beautiful stream on site.
Mr and. Mrs blogs who were acting wardens were very helpful and made us welcome.
30 minute walk to bus stop, as it is to walk to nearest pub
There is parking in the town.on side roads and plenty of car parks which are suitable fr mohos.

喜欢: Lovely quiet comfortable site. Very clean facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for walks, cycling and hikes.

喜欢: Beautiful quiet site (this could be a negative for some if they have children, but ours loved listening to the birds) Riverside on site so the kids could go and throw stones.
Clean facilities, even a kettle with coffee and tea.

不喜欢: Not a lot of space between pitches, or room for the kids to run around.

来自经理: Thank you for your visitI fail to understand your comment about pitch space as you were 6 metres from adjacent tent and there was nothing for at least 15 metres on the other side.

Yes we are a quiet site and bird song fills the air, which is why we do not have a playground or play area, we want people to enjoy the countryside which your young children appreciated. There are plenty of sites out there that accommodate those other family needs, we choose to be quiet.

喜欢: lovely pitch by the river friendly owner , he has a little bar which he will open couple of pubs in walking distance and bus route to town nice shower blocks

喜欢: Everything. Well kept pitches and grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean toilets and showers and washing up area. Lovely river which my husband loved for fishing

喜欢: Absolutely STUNNING campsite. Stayed on a hard standing pitch backed onto the River. Site was immaculate and clean and the lady who booked us in was lovely and friendly. The location and site was so relaxing with just the sound of the running river, birds singing and the sheep bleating every now again in the next field. Totally relaxed and chilled !! Will definitely return ❤️

喜欢: Beautiful location, plenty of local walking, really clean facilities. I was surprised just how many amenities there were and this made a huge difference. Local scenery is just beautiful and you can walk for miles! The two neighbouring horses like to come and say good morning when they see you wake which is lovely. There’s a nice stream again which is very peaceful to walk along. There’s dogs absolutely loved every minute and have never slept so well! Including our extremely active border collie pup! We had our own bathroom at the shower block which was immaculate! And a lovely surprise! It was a lovely friendly site, nice quiet and peaceful the owners and on site team were lovely and friendly! The shepherds hut was comfortable, perfect facilities including a fridge, kettle, microwave. There was also HEATING!!! This was an absolute bonus when warming up after a cold wet walk and made the hut so cosy! Cannot wait to come back!

不喜欢: Honestly nothing I didn’t dislike, the only suggestion I would make if an onsite fire pit and wood could be provided at extra cost if wanted but there was definitely no dislikes here! Wi-Fi is slow but this never bothered me as I went to switch off.

不喜欢: Said you can fish on river but no actual fishing spots to sit at just small river bed
Disabled toilets closed
Said small bar however nothing signpost yo where it was when looking round site.
Could give us more information on whst was near by
